Thanks y’all. I appreciate it. 51 years young. Still love my toys just like the rest of you!

Just never got the shot I wanted this year. This one was close but I was wanting to catch that spot with more color in the sky plus I had not really done a lot to my Sling since last year.

2001 Honda Shadow ACE. Sold it to a local so I get to see her from time to time. Still love my first bike. Not a powerhouse but a good solid motorcycle. slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/88298/

In this image posted by an event participant on face book of the shut down area it looks to have some rather large humps that I sure wouldn't want to hit at those kinds of speed
Yeah I heard the ruts got the car bouncing at nearly 200 mph and he lost control. Huge loss. Jeff Hagaman was well know in that racing scene. I have watched many videos of that bad ass GTR and he had an evil Caddy sedan as well. RIP driver.

My worst mod was the very first one I ever did. Polaris radio shade cover. Still can't believe I spent almost $30 for this 10¢ piece of plastic. As worthless as tits on a bull.

All this talk about this storm coming our way and my biggest worry is where I will hide my Slingshot if we have to leave. I live in a condo with no garage. Priorities.

Now I see it. Checking with a level on top of tire would be easiest check.

Yep I've had mine on over a year and never noticed. Sure enough just checked out the package and it shows the same thing. Just a CYA for them. Mine are doing fine. Anytime I've taken them off in the last year its been no problem to remove them.

Looks good. Post a couple of pics of the entire Sling with the wing.

Sorry to hear of this Gerald. Good thoughts to you and your family.

Funny I was going to come in here and ask the same thing about those T40 screws. Have a couple broken ones and one missing on my Sling. Anyone ordered them from Polaris? I bet they are might proud of their marshmallow bolts and want $8 each for them. Anyone find them from an online vendor?

I put the ball in 1320's court. Pretty disappointed to spend $400 on an exhaust that basically lasted 14 months ( I've been chasing this issue for a couple months now) and I called and the guy gave me the contact info for the owner. We'll see what comes of it.

Good luck. Mine was hit in my parking lot back in December. That little bit of damage is over $1800. Luckily he guy came to me when he did it and was straight up about it. Took to Polaris dealer and they gave insurance company the quote to repair. Adjuster never even looked at the Sling. They just sent me a check for the dealer quote and I handled it from there. Dealer repaired mine in one day. Those parts are easy to change out.

Update: Finally got around to having time to put in the stock exhaust and the 1320 V2 exhaust was the issue. Funny how it only squealed at 2500 rpm with this crack. Hate to spend $$$ on an exhaust that barely lasted 16 months but I think the warranty is only 1 year. Going to just get a cat delete pipe and keep the stock can on there.

16.5 with 21,700. Only one I've heard of with more than Funcycle was some guy on FB saying he had 84,000 plus on his '15.

Need some help trying to rid a squeal or rattle on my 1320 V2 exhaust. I actually think it is one of the springs vibrating that is causing the sound but it is driving me nuts. It hits at between 2250 and 2500 rpm no matter is under acceleration or deceleration. I installed the support brace about two months ago and it has shown up since then so I was thinking that was the problem so I unhooked the brace yesterday and the squeal had a different pitch to it and came along a couple hundred rpms higher but it is still there. I've checked for any sign of exhaust leaks and its not there. I've been experimenting with different positions with the eyelet on the brace that is mounted on the top pipe. Right now it is at the 9 oclock position and there is plenty of tension on the topmost spring. It is the one on the very bottom that I think might be the culprit but I'm not sure. Anyone else had this issue with a 1320? I just don't want to fight that bottom spring again on that thing. I made up new cusswords trying to get that bottom spring on. I like to ride in 4th gear and that is right in the wheelhouse of that rpm range.
