Thank you for that info. Never heard of fast cat or traveling by boat other than cruise ship. Visiting Sanibel Island has been on the to do list for years. You may have just given me a way to take out 2 birds with one stone.

Key west is nice. But it would take a minimum 2 days out of your trip. You would want to stay overnight to catch the sunset and boardwalk shows. It’s very expensive this time of year and a lot of the hotels require 2 nite stay. Or take the fast cat from fort Myers beach to KW in same day. You miss the sunset in KW but see it from the boat. Nice cruise by water.

We meet at Applebee’s on Monday nights for the car show every week. It’s a free show and we get 3-12 slingshots there from 4-6 pm. Then we usually eat dinner and head out. It’s a nice relaxing evening with a lot of BS. When do u plan to arrive in Sarasota ?

I'm Starting this thread to share our adventures this summer and possibly for others to share their adventures. We'll be kicking off the season with a trip to Florida. We'll be leaving in the morning (3/13) and trailering down and using Sarasota as home base. From there most of the state is within a four or five hour ride so who knows where we might be spotted. I'm open to suggestions from the locals on things to see or do. The Everglades is already on the list and I know about the Sarasota slingshot event but what else should we see or do with only a week to explore ? Here's the first pic, the sling is loaded and ready slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/119807/

    .................Let the adventures begin 😎...............

    Hey Der
I’m hour south of Sarasota and we have fun rides planned. You really need to go east of 75 to get in old Florida roads. Pm me if you wants some maps or what to meet along the way. We have several guys in port Charlotte that ride. Scooter trash from Indiana stays down for winter too.

    Hey Guys.
Thank You all for the kind words and especially those prayers. You can never get enough of those.

    The story,

After the stress test showed a strong bull and then a pill to hide the pain I was good for 6 months. Then pain came back and dr decided we should do a cathorization up my arm just to look and if needed a stent. That’s just to easy for me. In and out with no stent.
Dr did discover 2 full and 1 partial blockages.
Yes that’s bad but they found it and I got to pick the date and dr. I wanted. Dr also said the bypass surgery is very good but way more invasive.
I am now a full member of the zipper club. It will be two weeks Thursday since it was done. I’ve never been so sore and black and blue all over before in my life. God was good to me and I will heal. Many of our friends and family arnt so lucky. Those are the ones that need all our prayers and support.
Thank you all again and keep those prayers moving on passing the torch and never drop the fire.
Looking forward to seeing you all this summer.

I would suggest you do some reading on seat harness mounting to understand the safety aspect of how you mount the rear straps over the shoulder. There is a reason the racing seats have the openings for the straps. If you have an accident and the straps are not properly mounted it can cause severe injury. Not trying to scare you but just read up on it. I have straps in mine mounted and was surprised after reading the proper mounting. I have mine mounted to the standard.

I have been thinking of changing my seats, and I really like these Procar Touring seats. The dimensions are smaller than it looks, and it should fit no problem. I also like that they don't have the large shoulder pads. I was planning on buying Sparco seat brackets, because they seem to be a little lower than the Planted brackets that are available.

These seats don’t have a place to run harness straps through. I like my harness when in the twisties. I use have the regular belt when not.
