What are the differences between "Student", "Master" and all the other member categories? Thanks

Four panels, 28"

Here are pics of the Wink mirror mounts on my Twist top. Having that mirror is perhaps the most useful of the many mods I have done. A couple of angle brackets bent to match the pipe angles and two worm gear hose clamps. A couple of wraps of black electrical tape around the pipe to prevent the clamps from scuffing the powder coat would be good.

I spend winters in Florida and used to (1980's) be a road racer - til kids came along and priorities changed. Where can I go to see club level SCCA (or similar) racing from Dec to April. Other than the Daytona 24 hrs and Sebring's 12 hr races??

Sharing is what forums like this are all about. It is about a 5 minute job!!!

Was organizing stuff this morning and noticed the gray surround for the base radio opening looked to be about the same size as my license place. And it is. Two holes later, and with a spacer on each bolt between the plate and the trim, it is installed. Looks pretty decent I think. And free!! PS - the red above the plate is reflective tape cut to fit the shape of the area.

How about cooler switches or an easy way an idiot like me can add switches to the transmission tunnel by the e-brake --- tons of mods that need switches and no room left for switches
I found switches at Walmart that look good and are easy to install by drilling a hole instead of cutting a rectangular opening. You can see one In the pic, just above the voltmeter. That switch operates the parking LED strips.

I didn't recognize it by that name. Thanks!!

I just wish someone made a cool roof that someone who's 6'3 can wear with a helmet and can see out of properly.
Needs to have a tinted see through top.
The Fab Factory top would be perfect if it was 2 inches taller. -
Maybe a cover held on with a set screw for the timing chain tensioner "nut". That rusty thing looks hideous. I painted mine with hi-temp aluminum paint until I find something better. And if something is already on the market, I don't know about it.

Bill Martin - I see we have the same SxS. A red RZR 800 for me too. Didn't get wet in mine yesterday though.

Happy Independence Day to my USA SS forum friends! From Nova Scotia.

My whites and reds are 5050. What number are the narrower ones?

It is no different than driving a Solstice in a parade. Would you worry about your clutch in that instance? Or if an antique car? Chill!! Enjoy your SS.

I cannot answer what makes a good or not good LED. I bought all of mine using Amazon. Most were 5m rolls for (as I recall) around $16 including shipping to Fl. Also bought connectors so I could cut them to desired lengths. Can say the sticky tape on them was of no use on my SS plastic. I used Gorilla Super Glue Gel instead. So far, so good with both the LEDs and the glue.

I found a Harley Tour Pak pouch in with my misc stuff. It fits great beside either seat in amongst the frame pipes. Attached it to the inside of the body panel with velcro (with the sticky tape on the back of both pieces) from a dollar store. Works great. I carry in it an extra gas cap (also fits my lawn tractor) and other items. Now I'm looking for another for the passenger side.

Switch for the "parking" lights.
-
The vertical ones at the rear are red. They and the front eyebrows are on their own circuit and switch so they can be used as parking lights.

For those who want to hide the circuitry in the LED strips, this process worked for me.
1) wipe the strip with Plastic Prep (or similar)
2) apply Avery 1/4" dots over each LED
3( spray the strip with desired color. I used Semi Gloss Black Trim Paint when putting the lights on the black panels and aluminum rim paint when putting the lights on the colored panels.
4) let it dry and then peel off the dots
5) spray with a clear coat (with a flex agent ideally)
6) install and enjoy!!
