Keep in mind the slingmods video has the wheel light strips meeting together end to end on the wheel ring. That wont happen with the actual pair you get. I talked to Tricled about that and they said it was an old protoype or something. If you stagger the strips you wont be able to tell once the lights are going. Also note on the underbody start your curve early when you're moving down the frames installing the strips. You can't have any semi tight turns with this stuff. Lastly consider your path on the underbody. I think the sling mods video shows them using the Jack point behind the wheel. I used the other bar to run along from front to back of the sling. I can.post some pics later showing this.

Rear wheel zipties

I wrapped the bracket with electrical tape and added wire loom to the sides and put the plastic covers on the side posts and taped them as well. I saw a review of a SS on YouTube where a short occurred related to poor installation... I went OCD on it. I added some aftermarket top post covers from amazon. The red one had to be cut in order to wrap around the cables. Also note one of the top post brackets sent with the kit needs to be widened to fit the positive post. I used two wrenches to open it up and get it to fit.
Did this turn out ok? Yes I think so but it was a frustrating install. The guys at Tricled are helpful and I like the quality of their products. How much of thos is related to Polaris mixing parts on my machine? idk... anyone planning on doing this just know it is a super tight fit and If you're not nimble it is going to be that much harder. I expect the later models have an easier install.

Here is how it shaped up for me. I had to modify the slotted mounting holes on the bottom in order to fit. They needed to be taller. I used a dremel to accomplish that. I had to buy a longer 6m bolt for the front of the bracket to screw into the frame. The stock one would not allow me to get the thread started. I also bought a.longer negative battery cable. Granted I think I had to do all of that because my '16 had some '15 battery parts.

I'm in the South and sling is garage kept as well.

I just installed wheel lights and underglow. I used zip ties everywhere and used a heat gun on the lower setting.

that is a great thought. I was thinking about making an L shape under the dash after looking at the other posts. I just found they make these as rocker panels. I'm going to see if that will fit if not I'll do the L shape under the dash.

For those of you with the meters. Where did you mount it? I'm leaning towards the center tunnel for accessibility, but that means I have to drill through the finished trim.
Here is the on I bought.

what is the plan for the group going forward?

Not sure about that. On the Slingmods website there is a 2016 tray and a 2017+ tray - 2015 is no longer in production.

I get mine serviced there. I bought my used from a family member. I'm not sure if Scenic Riders are active.

I'm currently working on it. It will reach if you account for the length of the top post bracket the lug will bolt to then obviously that bracket gets secured to the post on the battery. I'll post some pics once I'm done. I've had the joy of dealing with a 2015 tray having a 2016 model. I think polaris used some left over parts on mine.

I'm in Chattanooga.

I'm in SE TN as well

It's hard to believe because it's BS. I called and told them, and posted a review on their site as well. Least they could do is acknowledge you might have to do some modding/tight space work to get it in there. I got it in without changing the cables...but it was a PITA. Had to undo the other stuff connected to the positive cable and hook them up individually. And wingnuts?! WTF?! Can't reach up there to get it as tight as I'd like.
Can you advise what you did? I think those who say it is tight have 17 or later. I see no way of my positive cable reaching on the other side. I noticed a lite the nite power video where the front of the battery was facing driver seat. Trying to create a thread so people can see all the options. I'm not a metal worker I dont plan on building a tray.

putting a blow torch in that tight space seems less than ideal

Any others have an opinion on this? I have a game plan for extending the cables by cutting the existing two positive cables that go into one lug nut and extending them by using stinger couplers. The other option is to simply turn the battery around in the tray. I've seen one pic on here where a member had the front of the battery facing the drivers seat with the Tricled tray. Can others advise on what they did to get the battery to fit considering the orientation of the wire? One good thing about extending the wire is giving enough length to lower it to the ground while still being connected. It looks REALLY tight to make those connections with the yellow top already in the tray. All that being said if the battery can just be installed 'backwards' and doesn't conflict with the setup of the tray that seems like a much more simple solution.

Forgive the orientation of the pics but I got it installed. Not super hard but some parts are aggravating since you're working in a tight space. Product is solid and customer service at ddm is top notch.
