update, finally had a full day off of work and took a spirited ride. Very enjoyable with the new wings, I didn’t have my shirt sleeve up around my shoulder from the wind. The only drawback is the bracketing is a bit heavy and The windshield Flexes when I hit bumps, I am OK with this drawback and for 10 bucks it was a great investment for me!

I picked up this mount off Amazon, and used some extra bracketing from my go pro camera, I did a little grinding and cutting on the bracketing to make it work with the mount.

Thanks for the response big dog, my main question is, is there a clearcoat on the tail lights? I bought it in October not sure about before then, it is backed into my carport and not in the Direct sunlight while inside, it’s a daily driver so it’s in the sun here in Florida most of the time while out, and it is in the sun maybe four hours a day while I’m at work then in the shade till sunset, never had it in the rain. This is something that has popped up within a week, it wasn’t there when I detailed it last week.

While detailing my 2015 slingshot Sl, I noticed it looks like there’s a clearcoat coming off The tail lights? I used some marine clear plastic polish which made her look perfect again. But I was wondering if anybody else has come across this issue? And what their fix was?

Playing with some $10 universal motorcycle windshield wings off of Amazon, they make a big difference with the wind whipping on my left arm. Still trying different angles but very happy so far. In my opinion they don’t look too bad either.

New to this forum, just bought a 2015 sl back in November, thanks for the information in the post, I was able to get the hub adapter SRK-170H Off of eBay for $29, installation was simple with the assault steering wheel puller.
I didn’t want to use the half inch spacer to get the clearance needed and push the wheel closer to me, so I modified the horn button for clearance because of the steering wheel bolt. Ended up just cutting out the back of the button soldering on a wire to the cone shaped metal piece inside. When the horn is pressed the metal piece grounds on the steering bolt and blows the horn. This site is fantastic for ideas and information on mods, happy slinging
