So if I replace myself, only the dealer can reset the code?
Here's a recent link..There seems to be a lot more "knock sensor" issues with the 2.4 in the Sling than there is in GMs. It almost always is "open circuit" which IMO is caused by the connector. The way the wire is clamped onto the bottom of the intake manifold probably causes a vibration on the short remaining length occasionally unseating the connector contacts. When I put mine back I zip tied in a different spot with a longer length and also brushed some high temp silicone glue across the outside of the connector to hold it firmly in place.
