To be honest, I love everything about the new slingshot except the new engine. I love the headlights and the front end. I love the new guage cluster and center console. I really wish they would have showed off more of the interior like what the steering wheel controls do. Also, would like to see what the new ride command display does. Hopefully they do sell a ton of these new slingshots.

Yes, that is great news. I kept trying to zoom in on the pics to see if any of those slingshots had manual transmissions.

Nice pics, they sound any different? Wonder what the Slingshot R is all about? That flat black looks nice.

Website seems to be updating. I like the new headlights.

Finally got my other seat in today. Man do they look and feel great. Ended up paying 689.00 shipped for both. If anybody is looking to upgrade there is a set on ebay for $580.00 plus tax. I know the listing says only one but I emailed the guy( when I was having trouble with my original dealer) and he said it was for both.

I just recently bought a used 2018 this past November and I have to say it is one of the funnest vehicles I have ever owned. It is crazy that people still do not know what it is after being out so long. That falls on advertising in my opinion. The other thing that I think that is hurting them (in my opinion) is that a lot of the dealers that once were selling the slingshot are not selling them anymore for whatever reason. My local dealer here in Lufkin no longer sells them and another dealer in the Woodlands stopped selling them. Kind of hard for people to buy something that they do no know existed lol.

Good news, the dealer called back and they are sold in a pair. What’s strange, is she said the box should have been marked 1 of 2 or 2 or 2 and there was no marking at all on the box. They are trying to decide which side seat I got. I told them it did not matter because according to the instructions they are the same part number for each side.

Whats wierd is all the other seats say pair
https://slingshot.polaris.com/…tional/seats/2882329-070/
If the comfort seats are $1650 for the pair there is no way I can do that.

Thank you, that is what I thought. I bought one from a dealer and he only sent one seat. I am in the process of either returning the one seat and buying from a different dealer or trying to show the dealer I bought from that they should be sold as a pair. Thanks for the great review on the seat. I am 6'1" also and looking at the one seat it looks really comfortable.

I am getting conflicting answers from different dealers. Are the quilted comfort seats sold as a pair or each? I

I was thinking that it was $824.99 for the pair. Thanks for any help you can give.

Thanks for all the info. I emailed Polaris this morning and they immediately emailed the instructions. Was not too bad but you have to be careful because the Polaris adapter is not flat on the back side like the other adapters , it has a raised rectangular notch that has to line up with the rectangular hole in the clock spring. Other than that I am ready to install the Sparco shifter that came in today. Quilted comfort seats should be here Tuesday.

Thanks, I bought the sparco wheel and adapter off ebay from a dealer. It was new in the box but for some reason the instructions were missing. I looked on the polaris slingshot website and it shows the instructions for the Sparco shifter but the steering wheel is not on there anymore.

I just bought a Sparco wheel and adapter to go on my 2018 SL and the instructions did not come with it. They have also taken the product off of the polaris website. Just wanted a better look at how the adapter fits. The cutout is wider in one place and I thought the plug would fit there but there is also a notch on the back side of the adapter that has to be lined up with the rectangular hole in the clock spring. If you line the clock spring notch with the notch on the back side of the adapter the big plug will not match up with the elongated hole. thanks for any advice.
