Ended up getting the DDM works 3 way shocks (black metallic springs), swaybar, end links, and mount. Hopefully they come with the updated rear spacers for the rear shock mount.

Been using these for over 5 months on just the center lights. They do make the outside ones as well. A good many people have been using them on the facebook group slingshot nation. For 30 bucks I decided to try them and I have been very happy with them. Simple install.

Also did you leave the 2020 35 tooth sprocket or did you put your old 39 tooth sprocket back on?

Looks like $1516.00

Ordered a ton of stuff from them and never had a problem.

Looking at the parts diagram I would see no reason it would not fit, unless I am missing something. The thing that has me worried is it looks like the gear ratio is different in the 2020 compared to ours. Speedometer might not read right. Also according to the parts diagram the belt sprocket is 35 tooth on the 2020 compared to the 15-19 39 tooth. But like I said the ring and pinion is also a different ratio. Maybe someone smarter than me can figure out what the final drive ratio is on the 2020 with a 35 tooth sprocket compared to the 15-19 39 tooth.

Ring and Pinion size on 2020 is 17/48 which is 2.82
Ring and Pinion size on 15-19 is 16/37 which is 2.31

Will the factory sparco shift knob(comes standard on the slr models) fit on this short throw shifter?

After reading this thread you basically have two options. 1: Pull the motor and ship it at your cost. They will determine what is wrong and fix it, then ship it back. 2: Cut your losses and go to another shop.

The purpose of this post is let others know of his experience with a vendor. I have no facebook(and do not care to ever have one). So this is my first time hearing it and I am guessing I am not the only one. The vendor is free to state his side of the story. What bothers me more than anything is the stuff falling off a brand new engine. You should have gotten a parts breakdown of everything that was in this new forged motor. Not every sale to a customer is going to be 100% perfect but it is how these vendors respond to these situations determine how good a business they are. Would love to hear the other side.
I will ask, does anyone make something to log the slingshot for boosted applications?
Something like a Nguage with wideband o2?
On my current boosted truck (2019 f150 4wd whippled, e85) I never made any wide open runs until I logged idle and short pulls to make sure I had plenty of fuel and there was no detonation.

That kit looks way better with the ddm works logo on it. Really looking forward to someone putting this kit on a track. In other words would a supercharged or turbo sling with this kit be able to perform/ handle as good as an ariel atom?

Lol, no screws. I did a lot of looking at the parts diagram of a 2020 and I could not see any reason why these would not just bolt up. They bolt up using almost all factory hardware. Two bolts and two clips on inner side, 1 factory pushpin on each side, and 1 bolt and nut on lower part (I did drill the one hole in the factory bracket as our front subframe does not have this hole. On the upper outer part I have the brackets ordered but they are on factory backorder. For now it is just one zip tie slightly loose on each side. The way that outer bracket works is it slides into the hole in the gap filler and the gap filler actually moves and flexes up and down on this bracket. Hope this helps.

2020 oem gap fillers.

How hard is lining up that input shaft on the way in? If it was not too much more trouble I would go ahead and pull the trans and put it in all together as one assembly. I'm just throwing stuff out there lol.

I think Dave's post needs to be stickied somewhere, would help a lot of us in the future. Some really great advice

That is what I may have to do.

Thank you, the only problem is my local slingshot dealer is two hours away. I was hoping I could purchase the paint somewhere other than Polaris.
-
There are a couple of things I want to get painted on my slingshot but I am having a hard time finding what color will match. It is a 2018, dragon green is the "name". The Polaris paint code is I think 740. What is the actual number I can give to my local paint supplier? Any help would be much appreciated,
thank you in advance.

I am still on stock shocks and shocks will prob be one of my next upgrades. I thought I had them narrowed down to the ddm 3 ways. Now I see they offer the 4 way adjustables. I am leaning toward still going with the 3 ways and using the extra money I would spend on the 4 ways for the sway bar, sway bar mounts, endlinks, and brake master cylinder support. Anything has to be better than these harsh, stiff, shocks.

Good looking ride, congrats.
-
Whats even worse is they they don't offer the manual in the standard sl version
-
Love the color scheme, I would also offer in the 17-18k range and settle at 19k if you want it.
