SOG is not sponsored by Polaris, They do have a 'nod' of approval and it's ALL volunteer effort to make things happen..

I realize that. I Joined SOG because Polaris doesn't appear to have any kind of true owners/riders group of their own.

Oh well. I only signed up for SoG because the official Polaris "Club Slingshot" isn't really anything as far as I can tell. There doesn't appear to be any sponsored chapters or anything like that. I guess I was being naive when I assumed Polaris would have something akin to Harley's HOG.

Ross Like the rest of us has probably been pretty busy with family stuff during the holidays … "SOG" is a completely volunteer run operation --- as for most of us in our daily lives family and work must come first.

Not a problem. I didn't even know I was supposed to get a welcome package until I stumbled on this thread.

My wife wants to take our 3 sons on a cruise, I never been & never will be on a cruise.......now I did offer to pay for them to go to Bermuda......Heard there's a nice Triangle there......

Yeah, I've been on a few cruises. They're over-rated. Too many people, noisy, cramped quarters, etc. But it was all-inclusive, so that was nice. Here's a picture of the ship I took my last cruise on. I think it was called the Carnival BOHICA.

Sorry, no toys to show. For Christmas this year we decided to take the kids and grand kids for a once in a lifetime trip to the Philippines all on us - - we leave on the 2nd :P

As an ex-sailor, I've been to the PI many times. Always enjoyed it. Of course I never saw much more than Subic Bay and Olongapo 8)

My dealer called and reported the parts were there waiting for me. Unfortunately roads will be covered in snow and ice for the next 4 months or so.

Yep, mine called a couple of days ago. Have an appointment second weekend of January to get both recalls done.

I ran my very first motorcycle (Honda CB-360T) out of gas. It started sputtering, so I went to flip i to reserve like I always did, and it was already on reserve....

I knew a guy that did not have any until he hit 62 years old with all his life in the outdoors. That means nothing. I have been outside most of my life without sunscreen also on bikes since 1964. My hands are now white with scar tissue. I have been burnt, cut, froze and electrocuted (Burnt and scraped) with two face lifts as I call it in the process. The first skin cancer surgery was in 1982. If you manage to go thru life as you say, you will be VERY lucky not to have some skin cancer.

Yup. I'm fairly dark skinned (Italian decent) and I had my first (and probably not my last) skin cancer when I was in my mid 40's.

In over 50 years of fueling cars, trucks and motorcycles I have never had one that stopped running because of "bad gas". I did have a 1971 Z28 Camaro that did run crappy one time when I got a bad tank, but that was the only time I ever even noticed any difference in any of the gas I have pumped into vehicles I have driven

Same here. I've had the occasional period of rough idle I attributed to questionable gas, but never anything more severe than that. A guy I used to ride with (somehow) put diesel in his Harley once. Now THAT resulted in a trip to the dealer on a roll-back 8o.

Just got 2019 SS out of the shop last week for the T-19-01 recall Now got a notice yesterday about a new recall to replace 10A circuit breaker for certain 2019 models (of course mine is one) lol Guess I better try to make an appointment again

I got the same recall notice e-mail yesterday, and I still haven't been able to get T-19-1 done. Every time I call my local dealer they tell me they still haven't gotten the parts from Polaris.

Ding! Ding! DIng! We have a winner! A couple of minutes with my solder gun applied to the set screw and it finally broke free. Thanks for the tip!

Ok I didn’t catch that. I would do as Orangeman said with solder iron on set screw. If all fails a dremel cutoff might fit in there. Your replacing that piece anyway. Just don’t melt the rubber boot.

I may just pull the entire assembly out of the transmission in one piece so I can work on it in a vice on the bench. Half the issue is not being able to get at the set screw with a hex key socket and ratchet due to clearance at the console. I want use my same knob (the Sparco that comes on the 2019 SLR) so I have to get that set screw out one way or another.
