I have read through a good portion of this post and still not sure what I want to do. I live in NC and it is my understanding that a helmet is required by law however DRH40130-ML-108 would seem to contradict that. Being a motorcyclists in a state that requires a helmet affords me the luxury of having a few to choose from. Typically on my Harley I wear my turtle shell helmet which is not DOT approved and have never gotten a ticket.

Does anyone on here know of anybody in the state of North Carolina that has actually gotten a ticket for driving their SS without a helmet?

First off, I am sorry and still trying to learn how to navigate this site. I posted the same question in the Tech section and don't know how to delete it.

It is the base model and it was a new dealer demo model with 40 miles on it when I bought it so no previous owner to add a switch. I change the circuit breaker with a new Cooper Bussman 21130-00 breaker and nothing. Think it might be the relay, but I am not sure and do not know how to remove/change it. It did not seem to be easily removed by hand so I assume that a special tool might be required to extract.

Ok, now I am going to go try to remove the duplicate tread from the Tech section. Thanks for the help.

Need helps guys. My headlights do not work. Thought it might be the 30 amp Cooper Bussman mini circuit breaker, p/n 21130-00, so I purchased two new ones from Spemco. Changed it out to no avail. Any ideas what it could be? It will be 3 to 4 weeks before I can get it back to the dealer to get fixed with my work schedule so if I can fix it myself I would like to try. If it is the relay then please let me know where I might purchase one and give me some instructions on how to change it. It did not want to pull out easily by hand so I assume that maybe you need a special extraction tool to remove. Thanks in advance for the help

New Slingshot owner here. Probably going to have a lot of questions that you all have already answered but please be patient and bare with me. I just picked up my 2017 model this last weekend and had a chance to put over 100 miles on it. Unfortunately I did not realize that the headlights were not working until after I got home later that day. Sent message to dealer because they supposedly did an inspection on it before I picked it up but I guess that may not have been the case. I don't have a lot of time to take it back over so I order an new 30 amp circuit breaker online and will hope that fixes the problem.

Anyway, glad to be here and hope to learn how to navigate around the site and find any old threads that might answer my questions so that I don't ask something that has be responded to 100 times before.
