wish I knew how to do it myself. I put new tires on this past spring. Only put about 500 miles on my sling this year and the front tires are toast! ;( Had the alignment done in Maggie Valley last year, not sure what happened, must have hit a hole. Either way, it's messed up bad and the dealer is about 150 miles away

I’m not sure exactly how the alignment is done on the slingshot. I do know they run a bar through the rear axle from there they take measurements to the front wheels and forward to a marker quite similar like spiders and then adjust your toe in or out

Cycle Country in Salem Oregon is the most accessible dealer for us presently and I am about to make an appointment to do the seat recall(s) and get the front aligned. In the mean time can anybody here share what they have experienced or heard about this dealer?

    Thanks,

    Bill

When I purchased my 2015 sling shot from Mt. Hood Polaris in boring Oregon I was unaware Cycle Country was selling them. However I have been servicing my slingshot at Cycle Country in Salem Oregon and can honestly tell you on a scale of 1 through 10 being the best I would rate them a 15. I have nothing but an “A-1” rating for everyone there at Cycle Country

Bill where did you purchased your slingshot?
Are you going to be at the oyster run in Anacortes Washington this weekend?
    Give me a call, Dan 971–3 01–3329

    Wolo 619 Air Horn.

    https://www.amazon.com/Wolo-619-Big-Bad-Horn/dp/B008J151H4

Took the time to make a custom bracket and wired it to only have 2 of them break on me. They are junk. For me, if you can mount a new horn in the stock location, it isn't worth doing.

I bought a six tone horn in Vietnam that is very similar in looks but slightly larger than the stock horn’s and I mounted them in the same position. They look great and sound even better with their multi tone and pitch that they emit!

I have never heard of fog lights ever being white. You should never use highbeam lights in the night fog. The white light reflects more off the fog instead of penetrating through the fog like yellow fog lights do which allow you to see better in the fog being yellow lights. It’s just like yellow sunglasses are better for bright sun and bright lights at night. The yellow sunglasses cut the glare of the bright lights at night

Okay, @2W2X1, @Ghost, and @silver fox... The windscreen may depend on your top... Seems like twist dynamics tops versus Madstad and slingshade, go better with mesh versus acrylic or lexan.

I do think topless goes best with mesh and not the acrylic or lexan...

But like anything... To each their own...

I have the twisted dynamics top and then I change the canvas on top which is only about 18 inches from the very front to the first crossbar. I went that route more for shade of the late afternoon sun that was overhead or in front of me.

I got around 10K miles for each of my Kenda original and replacement rear tires and 35K miles from the fronts. If you're getting around 6.5K per tire fort he Kendas, I'd expect the 555 G2 to do about the same, maybe a little longer. I have around 7K miles on my 555G2 rear tire and hope to get at least 4K miles more out of it.

I’ve got over 15,000 miles on my Hannook (?) 325X30X19. It provides little to no traction in first and second gears

Front of the role hoops to the rear of the role hoops is only about 2”. Seems that’s not very much distance for us big a benefit that it made for you

I did away with my stock exhaust about 2000 miles into my slingshot. I installed side pipes on both sides. I don’t have much of an exhaust or sound issues.

My idea is a Lexan sheet form cut and engraved with LED lighting. Not sure if that’s going to make it or not. I also have the stock 2015 wind screen that my SS came with. I am thinking of trying that first of all. If you noticed in the picture I sent my sun shade canvas top only covers about 18 inches on the front portion of the roof system.
Another idea that I’ve seen are the side vents about 2 1/2” in diameter that draw outside air in and across the feet design for cool air circulation. This would also help alleviate some of the low pressure area??

I really like your suggestion and have already started in that direction of installing a windscreen that will be attached to the front side of the role hoops with an engraved image and lights. That idea is a year and a half old and got put on the back burner because of the purchase of a house

“BACK DRAFT” I have a 2015 SL with a twisted dynamics top and a F-4 +5 windscreen. Now I have a terrible back draft coming in between the seats. It is so bad that riding in the wet at 25 mph the Windshield and dash become soaking wet. Are there any suggestions to reduce or stop that back draft?
