Run any extras to from batt to another fuse block. Called dealer, they will replace the 50a fuse block and if any damage they don't know yet what to do. Parts will be i next week.

2019 RAM 1500 5.7, it can tow 8,600 lbs and my trailer is 7,000 GVW. Retired don't need a daily driver

I was on 2 wheels from the 60s until 3 years ago. i was hit by a car 3 times the last in 2006 on my way home from the VA. I was wearing a novelty helmet. first time a helmet of any type. broke arm, shattered wrist, road rash. I was playing sand volleyball once and broke my arm. I also am 100% DV and know a couple TBI vets. My wife, also a Vet, died last year from the effects of Desert Storm. I try to drive defensibly as it will save you most often. I was a volunteer firefighter/ Ambulance person for a few years. If you l live long enough you will see and hear of terrible things. I stand by Choice's. I said in an earlier post that when riding a dirt bike I was in full gear, also if at the track. Choices your's and mine. If you are comfortable in your choice good for you. I would like everyone to be able to choose for themselves.

Choices. I do not wear a helmet when driving my slingshot, Choice. I do not feel it is needed.I do wear my seatbelt I don't move around as much when playing, Choice. I wear Good eye protection, Choice. I like to burnout, not good for the tire but its a Choice. I want to enjoy my ride and I choose to have fun. Everyone should be allowed to choose for themselves. I do not even think about the odds when I am in my sling. Don't really care. However when using a seatbelt & helmet is the HAN needed? Yes. Seatbelt or helmet your Choice.

The original question was should you have a HAN with a helmet + seat belt. Yes to be perfectly safe. However I do not wear a helmet in the Sling. I do not feel it necessary. At the track I use my simpson carbon bandit @ 2.5lbs the lightest full helmet I could find. Helmets, seat belts & air bags should be a choice, all can save you or kill you. The choice should be up to you, if you talk to ten people you can get ten different opinions, decide for yourself. Maybe all bikes should be blaze orange?

A HANS is probably a good idea with a helmet, however not always necessary nor required. When at the track you need Helmet, gloves, boots, eye protection, jacket & pants (racing suit). When driving & playing its up to the individual what they are comfortable with. Defensive driving is the best policy. I was on a motorcycle since the 60's now I am in a Sling. Riding dirt bikes Full gear, street not so much. Choices.

I bought it with the shade march 2018, I like it for the most part. There are vision problems at lights but some autos have the same problem. I am 5' 11' and am comfortable, someone else may not be. mine is still as good as new. holds up good on the interstate, keeps the sun off fairly well, the front posts look and feel strong I did not like the pvc pipe others use. The cost is a concern for some so look at the options and decide yourself what is best for your $$. Each person has their own Idea and/or opinion. For me it is the best looking and functional roof available at this time.

i have the ddm Rotrex with all the parts needed the innovate SCG-1, the gauge is not really visual so when hard accelerating I would like it in my face, but like slinglow said listen to the engine or hit the limiter.

i thought with a good light I would not have to take my eyes off the road. i do try and use the sound but as I get older my reaction time is not as good so any help is good

I would like to know if anyone has a shift light, since supercharging my sling it revs pretty fast and I would like an indicator to help with shifting. summit and jags both have a lot to choose from. any help would welcome.
