Got Slingwings in on Fri and installed on Sun. Had a chance to ride some on Mon and was very pleased with the amount of air put into the cabin and floorboard by wings. NO it is not AC but it sure helped in the 90+ degree day. Better half really likes them.... Was afraid they might not look to good on but they look like they came on SS. Thanks for the input.

Cathy and I have made our reservations at the Best Western and have signed up for the event. Will be coming in from TN on the 13th. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces (Jonathan Creek Crew) as well as meeting some new ones.... Have never been in that part of AR. so looking forward to seeing some new territory.

Brake Failure light came on a few weeks ago. Would have gotten real excited but remember some discussion of this issue.
After realizing that I had brakes, checked cruise control, did not work. Called my dealer, 60+ mi. away, and told him about my issue, he ordered brakes switches. Went today to have installed and after a change of both, still have Brake Failure light. He had called Polaris with issue and they sent him parts. Said he would get with Polaris to see what issue might be. Told him I remembered bad switches from forum info. Left with light OFF, 5 mi. down road, brakes, and light back ON. Called him back and he told me the customer he had fixed the end of last week called to say his Brake Failure light was back on. Has Polaris not fixed the switch problem and are there still bad ones out there? Is there another issue I need to be looking at?

Agree with SlingRider, just rode the Bourbon Trail a few weeks ago. Stopped in Bardstown to see where Jesse James shot holes in the hotel wall. Cumberland Gap tunnel is also interesting. If you have time the overlook at Middlesboro, just past last red light in town and prior to going though tunnel, makes for a spectacular view (twisty road up mountain, great for SS, not motorhome/vehicle/trailer?).

    Also, see you in MV.

Moderate rain for approx 25/30 mi. Drove about 50 mph. Prior time in rain just a steady drizzle for about 15/20 mi. Have not had any real hot weather to drive in here, rather crappy, clouds, rain, and wind. So have not noticed any additional heat in cockpit so far. Air seems to rise above head as it hits windshield (stock). Have not had mine parked outside in a heavy rain... As Forrest would say "that's all I know about that".

Installed mine about 3 weeks ago. No picture, still learning how to do stuff... Bought more for the look. Don't know if it helps on engine heat or not, nothing to support that it does.
It does look great and I am glad I installed. Caught in rain storm last week and no issues.
I do lay the original vent, upside down, on the new vent when I wash the SS just to keep water and suds from getting into the engine compartment while giving a bath.

Not many 305/22 tires out there that I can find.. A few more options in 295/22. Toyo Proxy 4 come in 305 and looks good. Think Rab is running that tire? I like the look and so far has worked OK for me. Speedo off about 5-7 mph (slow).

Have 20/22 that I got from Roaring Toyz. Have 245/35/20 front and 305/25/22 rear. Tires are Delente D7. Got about 3,000 mi.+ on them now. Had never heard of them but they have been alright so far. Not a speed demon anymore but have run Dragon, Rattler, Devil's Triangle, and most of the other roads here in E. TN and W. NC + Ky and have had no issues with them so far. Running 34/40 on air pressure. Rain shower once, just slowed down, no problem.

It is possible that we have met especially if you rented a boat from us. I ran the ship store when I retired from my real job for about 3 yrs. and went to every other weekend last Sept. Great lake with clean water and not very commercial. We get allot of tourist business in the summer. Great fishing too....

I am retired but have worked since retirement at a marina on Douglas Lake, TN near Gatlinburg. There is a little convenience store on the road to the marina called the Dam Store. When people call to get directions and I tell them to turn at the Dam Store, they either get real quiet or they think I am being smart...or otherwise... I guess I can tell that story on this forum as it has the word Dam in it....

Finally figured out where you all had gone.... Missed the knowledge and fun! Don't really know any of you, except what I read, but looking forward to meeting everyone that is going to SSITS. Hope I can figure out how to move around on this site.
