Just got a letter in the mail stating a recall on my 2018 SL because of an issue with the seat belts. Has anyone else got this or is this just a way for the dealer to reel me in.

I want to install LEDS in the back panel and tap into the brake lights. I want these LEDS to be on all the time just like the brake lights but i want them to flash left or right when I signal left or right as well. Does anyone know how to wire this up?
-
@lowlander I want to do the same thing but I want to tap into the brake lights. I want mine to be on all the time and to flash left or right when signal as well. Do you have any idea on how to do this.

@Bigdog The 2 outside sets are gonna go inside the roll bar they will be white led's. The 2 middle ones are already installed on the sharks fin in between the seats facing forward, But,,,,, they are BLUE and it's illegal to run them while driving unless I'm in a controlled cruise like I have been twice now and had them on with no problem. So I want to be able to turn them on and off as needed. So, the nearest power for them is the auto plug in between the seats so like I said I want them all to plug in there but be able to switch the blues on and off. Hope this helps understand my dilemma lol

I have 4 sets of LEDS I want hooked up. I want them all hooked up to the auto plug but I want the 2 sets in the middle to go on and off with the illuminated plug. Can anyone show me how to wire this up please.

@airoutlaw yes but can I add another fuse box with already having the FZ-1 installed
-
I already have the FZ-1 fuse block installed on my SS. This box allows for up to 6 additional items to be installed. I can see this being maxed out quickly. My question is can I install a Second FZ-1 for an additional 6 more units to be installed. Also can anyone recommend a fuse box that is a lot cheaper than the FZ-1 or the Neutrino Black Box

I just noticed the arrow on the bottom right of each post allowing you to go right to the top instead of scrolling all the way up manually. The simple things in life huh hahaha

That is interesting but of course I'm not done with lights lol. Thanks for the info though

@Doc&Ruby This ones for you lol

@Doc&Ruby This is what mine says...............

I think I would call the cops. Even if I don't press charges but maybe teach these trespassers a lesson or scare them enough to think about it next time. How would they like it if I went into their car. Or I might just go to jail for beating the shit out of someone lol

@MACAWS You Da man. Thank you so much

@MACAWS
Let me explain that fuse box wiring. On top of the box...
+12VDC From battery positive to there.
+VT From a constant positive to there. Company says to use positive from cig lighter and I did. No issues there
GND is grounded to frame
Now as an example I have an LED strip where the red positive will connect to +12V Out and the black ground to the GND BUS....
Inside the box I have the option of putting a fuse on constant or Accessory in which I used accessory.
Now I want to be able to turn the LEDs on and off with a switch. Now where does the switch connect to is where I'm confused. -
@MACAWS That diagram is ok but like I said i have that extra fuse box so I NEED a visual on how to hook up using that fuse box. The only way I can understand the wiring is by actually seeing it being used with what I have like that fuse box. Or by being told this wire goes here and that wire goes there from that fuse box. Hard headed I guess but that is how I learn lol

@MACAWS Ok what if it is a lighted switch

I want to install on and off switches to LED's that I have installed. They are hooked up through the FZ-1 Accessory Fuse Block. Can anyone tell me how to hook up an on and off switch with this. Red positive to the left side and black negative to the right. I might want a switch for each item I install so I figure one demonstration will relate to the others. Thanks.

I'll look at this when I get home and no I won't be at ES. It's like a 16 hour drive just to get there. Would have been nice though
