I Use a skull cap.......The other day i left my house in the rain, So i wore my full face modular , 180mile+ ride, That helmet just wore me out...Next time i'll take both helmets with me and when it stops raining put the skull cap on...On my Bikes the full face works well, But setting in a car type seat no way...

In Jersey the state did away with inspections on Motorcycles back in 2011...
And when they did have it was a joke...Left signal right single brake light, Blow horn...
And the biggie check helmet to see if it has enough reflective tape on it..

I Normally ware a light half helmet ...But today because it was raining i took my full face modular [For the first time in the S/S] that i use riding my bikes.....After a 180 mile ride it just wore me out...On my bike i can at least turn my head, and move around a little, But in a seat no way....For now on its the half helmet , Rain or not..

I only have a little over a thousand miles on my 18...I been getting 30/31 mpg, I don't ride fast and i don't ride slow......I just ride it...?

The first time i drove of the dealers lot and i reached over to adjust the passengers side mirror i realized it was two person job.... Not like when on a Bike...I had to get the sales person while i sat in the drivers seat monkey with it to get it where i wanted it...
Yep those mirrors leave a lot to be desired .....And yes when walking around it, If your not careful your elbow will knock it out of wack......And then the second person is needed again... :D

I remember when the first Spyder's came out...They had an identity crisis which still lingers on today...
The Spyder's forums were full of , Nobody waves to me boo-hoo, No one thinks its a Motorcycle boo-hoo.. And guess what it isn't.. Its a reverse Trike....Now the S/S Goes two steps further, Its not a Bike Its not a Trike....The states [Feds] should get together and register them as some do, ''Auto-Car''...And not a motorcycle ....
I had a Spyder [08] And two Tri-Glides And the one bike rally /get together that i went to over the years i would always try to find a wide space at the end of the lot to park...Will i take my S/S there no way, it just won't fit , size wise and aesthetically...I donate money to a few Veteran charities but buy mail...
    But thats just me....[Nam 66]

Not the same mind you, But I've notice in the 3 weeks that i have the S/S quite a few oncoming drivers will head towards me, And then go back into their lane.....I'm thinking its target fixation ....
The oncoming driver is staring at the S/S trying to figure out what in the world is that thing...
Same as riding a motorcycle , Stare at a rock in your path and you'll steer into it... =O

Being the Devils Advocate, And probably not going to make many friends on my second post. But My S/S takes up more room in my garage than my wife's Grand Vitara , And just because some states register them as a Motorcycle doesn't mean they are. [NJ Is starting to register them as Auto-Car.] Would you park in a Motorcycle only spot...
I guess the end of the parade might work....But then what if someone pulls up in a Miata...?

Actually i kinda enjoy not waving or receiving them...After 50 plus years of waving , Its a pleasure not waving, The SS is not a Motorcycle...So why confuse on coming bikers by waving to them..
    Just me thinking out loud....
