Sounds good I don't think you can spread good tidings and Xmas cheer around enough. Do what you feel is right and thanks again for doing the work on this. And thank you to all the forum members who have donated. We definitely need to do this every year.

What are we up to amount wise if you don't mind sharing. I talked to the wife told her what was going on. We agreed and I'm sending you some more money. Check your pay pal.

I cant get past the front. I like it but that grill is ruff. I mean I still don't like the rear end of my SS. I never thought it was finished right my wing to me helps the look. But I don't know what I would do with a face only a mother could love.

Over the last 3 months I've had some very stressful stuff going on. But my faith and family keep me grounded so they are what I'm most thankful for them.

Or you can get the rear carbon fiber sticker kit that goes on the back top deck and cover the holes. But yea it is still cheaper than some of the carbon fiber wings out there. But I love my wing and think it finishes of the rear nicely. That's Probley the one thing I've never really liked about my SS was and this is my opinion I feel the rear end could have been finished differently.

Yea worst case scenario it's your first spring time mod to do. But yea I got a warm garage I work in on all our cars and toys. It really is not that hard to do. Most of the mods on the SS you can do with basic hand tools for the most part. But let me know I can help if you want I've done quite a few things to mine. I have a 2015 and definitely been with the SS community from the begining. Learned alot on my own and even more from the awesome members on this site.

I don't have pics of the process. But you don't live far from me and you could come over and we could mount the frame brackets. Don't mind helping out. I did snap some pics of my wing for you though. I got to adjust it a bit cause the front wasn't tight when I last drove it and it fell forward.

I went with a bigger one I liked the look from the front. It to me seemed to fit the SS better. I will get pics today for you guys. Bruce Wayne send me a PM of you address and I will get those mounts out in the post office and to the bat cave asap.

I have a set of mounts I could send you and you could see if you want to go that route with that mounting set up. I mean before you commit to a wing and mounting set up. You could just set them back there and get an idea of placement and the look of it. The first wing I had was ABS plastic. The screws pulled out of the wing. The second was aluminum and was solid. But it was to small from side to side so that lasted about 4 months. Then I found the carbon fiber wing and got that one. The best part was each wing used the same mounting hardware so I would just remove the old wing and remount the new one with no problems.

I took off lower back plastic. Made some L shaped brackets out of come 2 inch wide stock steel I got from tractor supply. I took blue painters tape and taped off top of rear deck to lay out where brackets would go drilled holes down through deck. Went underneath and mounted L brackets in place drilled 2 self tapping screws through each bracket into frame. I can actually grab the mounts that hold the wing and shake the shit out of it and the sling moves back and forth. It's really solid and strong.

Got the same wing made my own brackets that hook to my frame. On my third different style wing actually. But yea it's very nice. I will take pics tomorrow if you would like.
