wow @edwardaneal those side panels are a little pricy , I just orderd d stering wheel , quick release and hub adaptor. after buying these 3 along with the top im going to have to wait a little on the side panels. I did notice they didnt offer the fast color of black pearl for the panels lol. man now I cant get moose tracks off my mind

diet im always working on, you know kinda like a honey do list. as other have said that is the single biggest investment i have ever made lol

just got me a bullet speed roof for the sling but how in the world is a lard ass like me supposed to get in and out of this thing. is there a way to make the side pannel a little shorter without the peak and would a quick release drag car style stering wheel work if there is such a thing for the slingshot and if so what brand are reccomended.

helmet not required in north carolina I have a piece of paper in my glove box that the state patrol / dmv gave me to carry with me. when I went to the highway patrol office to ask them there was 2 patrol officers and 1 dmv officer (the one that checks weight on heavy duty vehicles) there and they all looked at me and said no ,the law had been revised at end of last year so if I didnt want to wear it ok, he then printed off the paper for me to remind officers if I get stopped for no helmet.

@Deelabaff bought my sling from bakers feb. of this year and had my seats checked yesturday at performance east in goldsboro they were very nice and the seats passed

the racks are made of 1/4" thick plate steel and are very strong.I think they will be ok, the wing is more or less for looks anyway.

@SlingLow no fab was done to the racks it just so happen to work out that way. the only thing I had to do was drill 4 1/4" holes to bolt the wing to the racks. at first K didnt know if I would like the wing because it was a smaller one but I have to agree with you , its just right and not too overwhelming. here is the wing I orderd

Got my racks from @SlingLow mounted then mounted a rear wing to the racks, I like it a lot. thanks everyone for the help.

slinglow im new here so not sure how to cantact you i am interested in a set sl how do i go about purchasing them

looked around online for some pics of peoples ss on a lift to see how it looked but couldnt find many. did my 500 mile oil change today so thought I would share a few to maybe help a little. I used the main chassis tube that runs front to back and I am using the quick jack brand.

quick question for everyone. I have only had my ss for 4 days now and i am already looking at adding accessories to it. from what i gather twist dynamics is the only one making a rear wing for the sling now other than a universal one. any pointers on this will be greatly appreciated, i know my computer will be happy to get a break from all the searching. its driving me insane, gotta have it!!!!!!!!!!

thanks everyone for the info , i really like the bookmark thing. one more question how long does it take to get used to the noisy L drive, it kinda sounds like the rear end in an old car i once had , then again it also sounds like a drag car drivetrain, i have found that the radio turned up louder helps

just got my new ride and i have a few questions, im new here so hope this is the correct section. im looking for info on other then polaris oil filters, what kinds are ok and part numbers. also tires (car tires) (darkside tires) so when i wear out the kendas. i have used the search but cant figure it out yet, also i keep seeing people mention darkside on here in their post how and where is the darkside stuff. on my bike i run a darkside tire and it great. also in the bike forum they had a section with posted aftermarket part numbers, crossrefrences and interchanges. thank you all in advance for the knowledge.

Hello to all and thanks for letting me join the forum. Just purchased a new leftover 2017 slingshot yesturday and I am happier than a pig in slop. I am still learning the forum and look forward to learning more about this new 3 wheeled thing.
