In January I purchased a carbon fiber rear wing from Slingshot Only. The other day I noticed that one of the mounting tabs had broken. Even though I purchased the wing when Slingshot Only was owned by a different company, Jimmy found me the part and sent it priority mail. Great service!!!!!

Beware! I received my knee pad bag today and it doesn't fit my 2015. The grommet that attaches to the seat bolt is too small making it unable to fit the bolt through. I've got a message into Slingmods regarding this issue on this $120 bag that should fit properly. Also, be careful removing the painted center console piece. I almost cracked mine trying to remove it. There is factory double sided tape helping to secure it to the body. No instructions with this piece, only the video that makes it look easy. Good luck!!!

Mine smokes and I have the hole drilled out. It seems to smoke most at idle. Usually there is no smoke for the first 90 seconds or so after starting and warming up. After 90 seconds i start getting dark smoke. I haven't seen it while driving. Maybe oil on the hot side of the Turbo burning off? Im not noticing any oil usage when i check the dipstick. Any solution or explanation would be great. Thanks

I have smoke at idle with my Alpha kit. It seems to start a minute or so after starting it, while warming up. It seems to go away after a short drive, but comes and goes when I'm stopped at a red light, etc. I've had the intake drilled, it seems to not have made a difference. One theory I've heard is that the oil isn't draining well through the return line from the Turbo to the oil pan, causing the smoking. The oil return line seems to have a round about way to get back to the pan. No sure why it's not more of a direct gravity path. It fills my garage with smoke sometimes. it is annoying.

I am considering the same tires when it comes time for replacement on my base 2015. If you did a semi-wheelie instead of spinning out it sounds like they are a good choice traction-wise.

Just make sure to break the tires in by putting a few hundred miles on them prior to getting aggressive. The tires are a little slick when new until they burn off the oils on them from coming out of the factory mold.

Today I was having some fun on my favorite sparsely traveled roadway. I recently added the JRI single adjustable suspension and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on my base model 2015. While acceleration out of the apex of a tight 15mph right hand corner the passenger side front wheel came off the ground approx 12 inches (best guess). No loss of control in the corner, just an easy tire lift and then it went down. I was driving solo. Probably wouldn't have happened with a passenger. These tires are sticky, just not enough to hold the wheel down ;-) Now I know my limit when driving solo on right handers.
