I've been wondering about how many of you own or use a trailer to go to rallies? Do you drive or trailer your SS? I was looking at a Aluminum Car hauler style trailer as a possibility but i don't really have the room around my house to store a large trailer. Have any of you used a Dolly style tow?

That sounds like a good idea until you find out Polaris voids your warranty with that battery..I’ve had a few of them and I’m not crazy about them because of their special needs. And they don’t last any longer an a regular battery. Plus they cost too much. Just my opinion.
@Bigdog, what kinda special needs do a sealed battery need?

They sound freaking awesome, ask anyone that was at Eureka Springs meet. I wish it was louder but that is just me. I always ran open headers growing up so I am not going to get that V8 sound I love.
Sure you can, drop an LS1 motor in that shot, she'll talk a whole different sound!

OK I finally got my led's installed on my side pipes so they will glow. My question is I bought a small fuse box that I am mounting inside the radio compartment and not sure if I need to run a hot wire straight from the battery or if I can tap off something with continuous power. I noticed the hazard light switch has continuous power but it is awful small gauge wire.
It would be best to run a 12g wire to the battery as your power lead.

Well, I filled the Right angle drive with 85/140 Royal Purple gear oil and took it out for a test drive. I'd say that it re leaved about 50% of the whining in the drive. I didn't have but a few minutes to drive it so ill let you know after i really get it hot if its still better.

I was thinking of chroming my wheels until I got the quote from a outfit in Atl. $800 each wheel. I'm going with powder coating.

I received my bottle of Royal Purple 85-140 oil yesterday and will be filling it up today. I'll let you know if it makes mine any quieter. I've loosened my belt up about 3/4 of an inch too.

Difference as in noise? I just did mine but I'm waiting on my windshields to show up so I can test it out. I got most of the bottle in my SS but I also ended up with some on the ground.
