Don't mean this is a negative way, it just reminds me of the old Meyers Manx dune buggy.

The slingshot equivalent of the 'Women of Walmart' video

I wish Virginia would have the same law passed. Bumper sticker saying 'Death to texters and tailgaters' would be too large to fit on the sling.

Many more to you Joe.

Sounds good. Just make everybody aware that it is quite a good distance from the Front Royal entrance to Great Meadows, and at a well enforced 35 MPH limit and weekend traffic. As food for thought you might consider coming south on 29 to 211 west in Warrenton. Probably a better ride on a hot August day and the Thornton Gap entrance gets you much closer to the target.

John,
Count me in. Depending on which route you take I will probably meet you at the Park entrance since it is way closer to me than your meeting spot. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Cliff,
This is the second Crew function I will miss due to a conflict with my Float Fishermen of VA official duties. The irony is that this twenty year tradition used to be called Crab Kill. Five years ago when crabs became scarce and super expensive we switched to shrimp, and the new function name became Crustacean Elimination. Sorry to miss since I have been looking forward to it when you mentioned it at our last ride out my way.

It would be way cheaper if you could just find a used AMC Pacer, and better looking too.

I had the Metricks hugger on mine for over 16K miles, many of them on rough country unpaved roads around my house with no issues whatsoever. I took it off when I went to a 315 rear tire. (and offered it here for weeks, already painted in titanium for $500. I'm curious what you are investing to get the same thing, especially since the cheap black plastic one sold by vendors is 500.)

Who has worse quality control, Polaris or Fiat?

Brother,
It's been too long, so I not only have a great ride for you two but some of your daughters' favorite baked goods just waiting.
Congrats. -
I bought the adapter from Demon's two years ago. It was not quite tall enough to make the install work right for me as the horn would go off whenever it felt like it. To his credit, when I saw a good price on red QA1 shocks and different cup holders on his site, Chris made it up to me even though it was probably close to a year later. I was also pleased when calling him I didn't know he was three hours different time zone from me but he answered his cell from call forward. I wound up getting the Assault adapter and got what I paid for.

PM me your address and I'll send it to you.

What would really rock is if someone would buy my fender so I can afford to have Metricks make me a larger one.
-
I have one he is welcome to. Get an address to me and I will pay forward the kindness The Rock and the rest of the DMV Wrecking Crew have shown with their mod help.
-
@'TheRock will have my Metricks hugger fender pictured in the for sale section. Less than the cheap plastic ones on the market, and even if you had to paint to match it is a deal.
-
And I have to thank The Rock in particular for spending two full days improving my stereo for me. It is not the first time by far his skills and most of all his friendship have made me appreciate our community, especially my local DMV Crew. Old vin # 0262 just gets better and better.

And I just got home from my brother The Rock's house with a double strength smile, one for the great sounds and another for missing the rain and hail that pummeled his house earlier in the afternoon.
