Most mechanics will tell you that the 2 GA cable is mostly used with diesel engines and their huge batteries, so on our slings it is overkill.

Trumps' response to the repugnant Nazi wannabees who marched through Charlottesville chanting racist and anti-Semitic garbage was that there are good people on both sides. I was born not too long after the end of World War ll and have yet to be informed of any 'good' Nazis. The above link to the article concerning the CEO of Camping World clearly states that he would not miss the business of those that agree with the presidents' statement. The area that Ethermion and I live just this week had a recurrence of KKK literature being left in public places. The only difference is that unlike the 'patriots' that fouled Charlottesville did so in broad daylight. The recent Klan litterbugs did so in their usual cockroach style-under cover of darkness.

Good post, Jeff. For looks and sound I really enjoy my Alpha side exit. I know I would want to replace it with a similar one if/when mine dies.

Lucas,
You know how long and steep my driveway is. It will have to be warm weather since I will have to take the snowplow off the sling in order to attend. -
Is 16 straight replies derailing this thread a new record?

On our 2015 slings there is a lip on the rear of the tray that fits over the ridge on the lower part of the battery. The rubber piece on the front holds the battery in place very well. Two years ago I had the airflow management kit installed, not knowing that it included the small motorcycle battery. When The Rock and I installed the SC, I decided to add a little more weight in back and got a 26 series battery from Walmart for $49. Replacing the rubber clamp was $8 and all is well.

Why go through the trouble of registering it when you can air any irrelevant grievance on this site? I remember coming over to this site from the dark side on the recommendation of some friends who said it had become a forum for people to air what should really be private conversations. Just saying.

Is this site now http://www.lifecomplaint.com?

Priceless.

I understand the small sidewall principle to a point just as large sidewall wrinkle wall slicks work best but the compound in those Michelin SS seem to contradict said principle. Less life, more traction-what's not to like?
-
Jim,
How did you lose traction with the larger rear tire?
-
I think I said this somewhere on here previously, but last December I ordered larger front and rear wheels and tires for my base 2015 that I bought in November of 2014. As a retired sales guy I was greatly impressed by the knowledge and courtesy of Jason Tung of
http://www.getyourwheels.com
He steered me to a better product at a better price, and called back several times to make sure everything was correct before confirming the order. He was particularly knowledgeable about the quirks and nannies associated with the sling. My younger, sharper riding buddies (The Rock, JDin, etc.) will have to confirm how good my sling looks since my flip phone and my lack of computer smarts can't do it for me.
Bottom line is, Jason treated me every bit as good as the gang at Slingmods has over the years, and if I recall correctly I made one of the first ten orders from them back when Keith answered the phone. -
P.T. Barnum was right.

Why not just replace it like a leading poster of the DMV Wrecking Crew? No name here but stock in Polaris might be smart.

I don't know if this still applies but I got my lifetime pass five years ago in person going onto Skyline Drive by my house and it was $10 with no added fee. A great deal either way.

Young man, you keep your eyes on the road so you don't miss the turn like some other friends of ours.

I know how hard it was to see the ten foot tall by fourteen foot wide sign for "Big Meadows" when you are travelling at a blistering 30 MPH.

It's getting close, what is the plan/schedule?
