I was thinking of you the other day while riding some of our favorite back roads on a rare sunny day. Miss the guy who has done so much to make my sling way more enjoyable.

Lot in common with the sling when it comes to poor quality control.

You got what you paid for.

I tried to tell you this almost a month ago. (post 30)

What Mitch is really trying to say is where you can shove it.

Please post any events on the forum also for those of us who have no use for Facebook.

Is it just me? For some people this forum has become a google equivalent rather than a focus for information on our great slings.
Slingshot/Bagworminfo.com? I can mostly deal with derailed threads and differences of opinion but please folks, give us a break.
I hope there is no limit on threads that can be ignored or posters blocked. -
Jack up the sling by the swing arm and see if the license plate is contacting the fender. I saw this a few years ago on a sling at Metricks shop. If so it requires a plate relocation as offered by Metricks and others.

Quit your Mitching.

Just to make one correction to what TravAZ said about widening the wheel, when I did just what he listed using the same size spacer on TSW wheels it was not necessary to use longer studs. I am glad that he has such vast knowledge of our slings and is always willing to share it. Besides, we couldn't stand him if he was perfect.

I have always had a good relationship with Slingmods since I made what I recall was one of their first ten sales around Christmas of 2015. Never had an issue in thousands of dollars of orders. Having said that, Lewis is one of my local sling family members. Enjoyed leading him and others from the Wrecking Crew on rides in my neck of the woods in the Blue Ridge foothills. Year before last he made the journey out to my house after a day of work to help install my side exit exhaust-just another example of having friends like him (and the Rock, Jdin, Wraith, Ethermion etc.). I can state unequivocally that any item of his that is pirated/sold by another vendor will never reach my address regardless of price. I am retired from over forty years in sales and understand the difference between legality and ethics. My brothers in the Wrecking Crew are the closest thing I have found since Special Warfare Group Atlantic. Go Crew, Go Navy.

Can't wait to see you and your beautiful b(ride) again.

Let's hope this crazy May weather smiles on us. I have until Thursday to cancel my room reservation in Harrisonburg. What is the current roll call?

Zeeboo,
Your explanation is quite a relief. Glad to see you aren't one of those "MAKE AMERICA GAG AGAIN" supporters. -
Great minds think alike.

I agree that it is a hike to Tazewell, especially since we don't appear to have Crew representation down that way. A suggestion would be to check out some of the beautiful spots starting around Staunton and running west on 250 out to Monterey in Highland County. Lots of options in the general area and meeting around Staunton with instant access from both RT 81 and 64 give more equal play drive wise to our Crew members. Highland county is referred to as "the Switzerland of Virginia" and while it can be cool temp wise even in May, it is absolutely beautiful, and makes a day trip much more doable.
