Well I did my second round of MODs today. I changed out the lights for the Canadian light kit and ran LED's in all of them. I also added the Digital Guard Dawg keyless system. Then did my 500 mile oil change with Mobile one filter and oil.

I wanted it to drive my daughter to and from high school in the HOV lane without paying a toll she will be in college by the time it comes out if it does. I wont need it then.

Today I took the Slingshot to Dallas from Houston early in the morning and drove back tonight. Roughly 8 hours in the seat today. Top and wind screen I put on this weekend worked great. Had my iPhone with bluetooth earbuds playing Sirius XM radio and I have to say I haven't enjoyed that trip as much as I did today in a long time. Mainly because I couldn't talk to anyone 4 hours each way.

Congrats @KayTwo and @DKF Texas!

@WOLF Thanks for the info. I went to Lowes and they had the wellnut's. Actually bought a deeper and wider version. Worked great. Still have the issue with the hood hitting the ripper. I put a piece of soft insulation foam between them for now. I will need to look up how to do hood adjustments

@Bigdog Thats what I will check first. Thanks

9 Days since I bought the Slingshot and I finally did my first two mods. Installed the tall ripper windscreen from Polaris. Not impressed with the mounting so I am going to find a better way to hold the wings down on each side of the body. They supplied 2 "Wellnut-M6x1.0" that is basically a rubber bushing with a nut in the bottom of it. You push it in a hole and screw in the bolt through the ripper into the "Wellnut" thats supposed to pull the nut up towards the windscreen expanding it and holding in the body of the sling. Well it doesn't work that great. Next the hood actually is hitting the windscreen at that point. Some adjustments will have to be made somewhere have to figure that out in the mean time I will put something between the two. Since this is a base model it did not come with a windscreen mount in the middle so I had buy that also. That went much better but they don't ell it as a kit. Each part is sold separately so you have to make sure they have all the right parts for it which you need for both the mid and tall rippers. I would have known more before I did this if I could have found the installation instructions somewhere online but that proved to be fruitless. So here it is for anyone else that is interested.
Next was the Meansling top @Ruptured Duck. That actually went better than I thought it would when I actually read the directions instead of skimming. I like the combo. It really keeps the wind out the ripper moves it right over the top. I could actually hold a conversation with my bride of 28 years while we were testing it out. Actually drove through @Storm subdivision for the ride.
