Check your anti freeze, make sure your wash fluid is topped up and check your wipers. I also fill the tank up with the highest test gas and start it a couple times during the winter. Make sure the car is in gear and your emergency brake is off. If you want you can block your wheels. Put a full charge into your battery or remove it and keep it warm and off the concrete. Kiss your car good winter and cover. You may also want to see about any recalls and get them done before the snow as the SS doesn't do to well in even a half inch of the white stuff. That is as much as this carpenter does.

Thanks @Bill Martin I almost got excited when I say the removable pin. However the female end is "permanently attached to the cover and the other buckle is tightened from both sides. That one I did get from a back packing store and have broken it and replaced it several times. I just got an email from National Molding so I am going to place an order. Trying to be Hercules I have broken a couple of the buckles on my full cover. As one buckle is sewn in I have to get the proper male end or I will end up having my wife do some sewing. My Polaris dealer cannot find a catalog number for this part but is still looking into it. I found National Molding in Miami Lakes Florida who makes them but cannot figure how to order them online as their online
store doesn't list them even though the online catalog does. Does anyone know if a retailer sells these. -
The cute fat one

Great photos but do they make my ass look fat???

Hi Mark and Shawna,
Thanks for everything Rose and I had a good time. You have a really nice camp ground and you should be proud of what you have done. Thank-you to all the sponsors, I really appreciate the prizes and the recognition of the Slingfest in Sundre.

At what time and where is the meet and greet on Friday? The casual ride? etc?
-
its to bad that the guy who took his car to the garage left the parking brake off and it rolled into traffic and was written off.
or maybe the guy who picked it up left the keys in it and some one stole it?
or maybe another recall from Polaris to replace the nut behind the wheel. or I got an offer for it I couldn't refuse.I just wonder what is the kids next line.

Got my space booked. The Liquor store is processing my order. The trucks should arrive this week

Has anyone one considered going to the 3 Wheeler Rally in Deadwood this year? I was looking into it as a 7 day 3000 kilometer run with trip to Yellowstone on the way back. They have a couple days in Deadwood on the 12 and 13th that may have some nice rides.

I did the Hwy 18 to Hwy 14 drive last year on the Island. It was amazing. I think the Hwy 99 would be a great road to drive on also all the way up to Lilloet and beyond up to Jade City. We drove it south from Alaska pulling the SS behind the motor home. Then coming back to Calgary we went up to Mount Baker with the SS. There was a lot of cars and bikes with the crack of noon club. Luckily we were the breakfast club(no traffic jams) and lots of fun going around all the bends in the road. Haven't made any real plans this year but hoping to get up to Sundre and also go for a ride with @Canoehead some place some time. Presently June is all booked up at The Stairgod household.

No issues with a Slingshot last year.

Replaced the recalled swing arm with a red one.

I was thinking black lug nuts since they were a bit rough putting on the double nuts but now I have the red swing arm it looks great. Baby needs a wash though.slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/44285/slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/44285/slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/44285/

My dealer 120 miles and I get up early (my usual time) and pulling in the service bay as he opens at 8:00am...
Ej does that mean you are up at 3am?????

I just like this cover when I am pulling the SS behind the motorhome. I have noticed that the cover does wave (buffet) and there are some wear mark on the SS. I can't imagine what a cover for a car will do at 70mph. But thanks I will look into this also if need be.

I have a full cover and a cockpit cover. How will the slightly higher wind screen effect this. Will I get more buffeting(scratching) on the slingshot. Any issues with fitting it on?
Let me know as it is time to go.
