It appears that the majority shareholder of Verticalscope is the same company that prints the Toronto Star newspaper. Obviously VS does make money as they said in the article I read that it made the media giant a profit. I also noticed on another website that we cannot say its name that @Tripod was the top poster last month not bad for part of a month. I wonder if they anyone is going to come close to spouting so much "knowledge" to the world on the unnameable website in the months to come?????????????????

We're working on a fender that mounts to our hitch receiver. Probably will go with plastic to match the rear underpanels. Any ideas would be appreciated.
I have seen some of the plastic fenders and they look cheap. Clean lines that expel water away from the rear tire. It should have a unique tail.

I had ceramic-ed my muffler and exhaust manifold as well as putting an extra heat shield behind the muffler, under the floor and on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel a few days before this kit came out. So far it seems to have reduced the heat.

The white SS's have a red angle drive I think this will be my next mod, if you want a different colored drive could you get it now?

Looking to go from the front of the cockpit to the crossbar under the seats. I checked out the Alpha skid plate and I don't think this would work. i will start drawing this and see where it goes. I have looked at replacing the plastic with steel however the force that would act against these would be from the underside in most cases and these would easily be popped out. I would think leaving the plastic floorboards in and installing a plate that covers the frame on the underside of the floor that is hooked over the frame pipes would be much stronger in event they would be needed. If it is raining I will have to jack up the SS and go under and measure the dimensions as well as the bolt patterns that are existing and make a pretty CAD drawing

As I was sitting in the garage last night I saw the engine Guard plate for my quad and it started me thinking about the what if's. The panel beneath our feet is just plastic and in the event of an incident something could something come through the floor? I also have a heat shield under the passengers side that is just taped on and is scheduled to come off when I least expect it. Is there a product out there that bolts onto the underside of the SS floorboards or do I have to make them?

I could do a Glacier Park to Yellowstone ride also

I must be allergic to eggs because I haven't seen one or it hasn't seen me?

Is that a reference that I am a pussy for not being able to sit my over sized attribute in a SS seat for around 10 hours(SL model) just lucky I am not driving a black one ( 12-13 hours)

I'm in but am on holidays from the middle of June to the end of July. I would need a break though because I have never done a 600 mile ride in one day. Overnight at 2/3 point would be okay.

My wife saw this on Shark tank or something like that. I can't imagine the amount of breaks we would have to take unless it can be like the motorhome and we don't have to stop while using it.

I was thinking making it out of a nice white oak

Wheres the ice??? I think you need ski's on it or at least snowshoes. Do you park it in your igloo? I don't see a picture of me drinking beer on it. Maybe May long?

So much love!! But could a long enough extension be put on fender so it sits lower. Just asking. I think it can be mounted at the front most lower part to the swing arm but if it could be mounted from the top with some kind of a artistic extension?

Anyone thought of mounting the fender from the top. I understand that there is a way to mount a hitch to the backend around the licence plate. As I haul my SS around on the trailer and use the tire tie downs the angled supports would get in the way. So the support on the front as all fenders but a vertical single support from the tail light area. Good idea or bad idea?

I had the stock rad and manifold painted in ceramic. I also got some self adhesive heat shield ($100 US) and while the rad was out I put it on the passenger compartment and went under the floor to the rail at the back about 36". I took the left over piece and I also covered the passenger side transmission tunnel. This was a 2 person job( I didn't use my wife as I wanted to stay married) as I had removed the adhesive cover and it took a bit of trouble to put it in so it didn't adhere to the wrong place. The few rides this year it seems to work better. I can put my hand about a 1/4" off the muffler and it isn't hot. The trick is to make cardboard templates before you start cutting the heat shield.

I was at Princess Auto the other day and saw the perfect metal fender. I know I have the skills to cut it with the perfect chevron on the tail end and if I have enough rum in me I can be shakey enough to get a nice bead when I weld a bracket
However I don't have a clue what the bracket should look like. I have watched a few videos and I know where to drill on the swing arm but that's the extent. Is a bracket available for sale so I don't have to rebuild the wheel or if not is there any designs out there with measurements from someone who has been down this road. Any idea just thought I would post so I could get some points so I wouldn't be "NEW" -
Its great for all you guys to help out because I am broke and out of beer.
So sorry Canadian beer and Canadian (you know what) is better.I think most people on this forum would not think twice to go a few hours out of their way to help one another. Group hug!!! I think I will go and cry now as this is a highly emotional moment now.
