Hmmm... maybe I should've just started a new poll. Sorry guys, like I said still learning the forum mechanics. Also, hadn't considered a tie straight out the gate and trying to not delay a winner and new topic any longer than I had to. I wouldn't have any shame or apologies for voting for any of the pics, they were all great. That said I'll try to get us on to the next topic as soon as this one closes and take notes moving forward.

Ok. I was able to duplicate this using another browser. I do not know the technicalities of why however I don't want to proceed knowing that some pictures may have not been visible for voting. I will do some checking and see if anything can be done different on my end. If not then it looks like we have a tie for our first competition and will have a run off for those two. Anybody with any thought on why the pictures aren't visible is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again to everybody who submitted photos! I personally enjoyed seeing all the great pics. Definately made the first voting thread a very difficult one. Good luck to all photos in the competition!

Voting will be open to all forum members, you DO NOT have to have submitted an entry to vote. There will be 1 vote per member that cannot be changed once submitted. Results will be shown once you have voted or the poll has closed. Voting ended Thursday night 10/4/2018. However, due to a tie we will have a second vote with just those two photos. Voting is open for everybody even if you voted the first go around. You should just have to hit the vote button to choose between Ross or Guardian_Angel if you've voted previously. I'm still learning the forum layout so if there is an issue please don't hesitate to let me know and I'll do my best to get it resolved.

Just a reminder to everybody, today is the last day for submissions! The voting thread will go up tonight as soon as the deadline closes.

Please make sure if you haven't already, edit your post to include "this is my entry", especially those with multiple photos posted such as @Guardian_Angel and @SlingLow. There are some really great photos and I want to make sure that nobody gets left out. For those with just 1 photo posted I will assume that is your entry for now, it just makes it a lot easier when going through the submissions to make sure they all get included in voting.

Also, it is suggested that everybody submit a high resolution large photo when you do. The server will automatically shrink it to a certain quality level so if you start with a large pic it will be ok once it's reduced.

Thanks again to everybody for participating  maybe we can get a few last minute submissions today!

I have received mine as well. Have everything installed just trying to clean up wires(mostly other wires that I got lazy with when installing other mods) and hoping to finish everything up tonight. I plan on posting back once everything is done done however playing with the kit and showing it off the last few nights in the garage has slowed me down a bit. All I can say so far is WOW... hope to follow that up soon.

Wow. As much as I love my slingshot I would almost rather have mine taken vs my kids, granted the replacment would be easier on theirs obviously. They shouldn't know at that age how horrible people can be and how screwed up the world is.

@studiopeg your not the only one with issues I just haven't got around to checking into mine. Mine for whatever reason has a difficult time occasionally connecting to my phone. As in all the lights still work I just can't get it to connect to control them, usually when I've been pulled over for lighting.

Also have an issue with the programming as far as getting the lights to turn on at dusk. I followed all the steps and it all looks right but that might just be user error either way.

Regardless. The issues for me have been very minimal and when it does work right I love it, the control and features are awesome. Definitely outweighs the issues I've had so far.

    Awesome pictures so far!

Glad to see so much interest. I think by the end of this competition my list of places I want to see will definitely be ALOT longer.

If everybody can, especially those with multiple pictures, please make sure you add "This is my entry" to the one to want to submit. That way when everything gets put into the voting thread there's no confusion and none of these great submissions get left out.

So I've been working on getting a photo competition going and was given the green light by @rabtech to go ahead and get one started so we can see if there would be any interest around the forum. I really enjoy looking at everybody's pictures and thought this would be a fun way to put a twist on on the pictures that everybody sets out to take. If this proves to be a successful addition to the forum and everybody enjoys it then we will most definitely keep it going one after the other. Due to my own enjoyment in his passion for pictures and heading up the calendar each year I've asked @Ross to assist with our first topic. So without further ado let's get the photo competition going!

"Your Slingshot at a National Park or Monument"

    Rules and guidelines:
-The photo must be of your own Slingshot (real full-size Slingshots). If the picture submitted is not of your own vehicle, it will not be included in voting. And if need be, the photo will be deleted from the entry thread. It is known that some members may own more than one Slingshot.
    - Use your own picture (not pictures from outside sources).
    - Photo Shopping pictures or extreme editing is not allowed unless specified by the topic chosen.
    - Stay within the competition's parameters (for example, if the rules are "Your Slingshot and Snow," only post a picture that has
both your Slingshot and snow in it). Photos that do not comply with the topic will not be included in voting.
    - Pictures should show off not only your sling, but also you photography skills. Be creative with your shots.
    - One entry per member. Let us know which your entry is by typing "This is my entry:" above your picture. You can change your
entry during the time of the competition but once time runs out you cannot change your entry or submit a photo. Once the
deadline comes, THERE WILL BE NO MORE EDITING!
    - The contest aims to last for the month, depending on the number of entries (competition will run longer if less entries are submitted, and
    vice versa).
    - After time is up, a new thread will be started for voting. The voting thread may be a "blind" poll, which means the results will be
revealed after the end of the voting time line or once a member has voted. Forum members will vote on a winner. The member that wins the first competition
will come up with the theme/topic for the next competition.
    - Once a photo wins a contest that photo will be added to the winners circle then "retired" and can not be used again unless for
    a specific contest.
    - Have fun! Keep your comments constructive.

    Deadline: September 30th, 2018

Thanks again to @rabtech for the opportunity to add to this wonderful community and @Ross for our inaugural photo competition topic.
