  • Does anybody have alphas new top mount turbo kit

    Here are a few quick pictures of some components. The top mount kit will come standard with our race exhaust, we will also be working with Welter on doing a rear exit for those who are interested as well. I pulled the manifold from production so it is not complete but still gives an idea of how it looks, all schedule 10 SS and CNC'd head flanges for accuracy. This kit has been an absolute blast to drive. Its DBB so it spools and pulls down low but the power is still very linear all the way to the top end where the real fun comes on! We have one being finished in the shop and a few more shipping out this week. Like others have said, the turbo will help quiet things down especially compared to a supercharger, from there it will come down to which exhaust system you choose.   • Alpha Rear Spoiler- They're back!

    We have had so many requests for the rear spoiler that we decided it was time to bring it back. Rather than carbon fiber, we wanted to offer a wing made of ABS to ensure long-lasting durability. The brackets are welded in house and are then sent to powder coat to be done in a nice satin black finish. The ABS wing is painted gloss black and looks great on all different color Slingshots. This is a bolt on spoiler that does not require any drilling! Simply fasten the brackets to your roll hoops, bolt up the spoiler, then tighten everything together and you are DONE! It can be removed just as easily as it is installed.


    We have ONE in stock for the first person who would like to purchase, this is packaged and ready to ship today! We have more being prepped and painted for those who aren't the lucky first to order the one available. The rest will be ready to ship in two weeks.

    Having the ability to quickly install and remove the brackets to the roll hoops is a huge advantage rather than drilling straight into the plastic rear deck. They also come with adjustment brackets that allow you adjust the angle as well.

    What turbo/model is used in the kit?


    Does it use a boost controller and can mappings be done or is everything controlled by the ECM?

    Our kit uses a Precision journal bearing billet 5558 with CEA technology wheels, we chose the 5558 to maximize the most power at the lowest boost possible. The boost level is controlled by the wastegate spring. Our kit comes standard with the 6psi spring and you can upgrade springs depending on supporting engine modifications. If you have a built engine you will be able to run more boost and this turbo is capable of 500+hp. If you are planning on keeping it safe and reliable then 300whp is the limit without building the engine, even then you will want to at least do upgraded head studs. The tune will scale accordingly but if you are going for high-horsepower a custom tune will be beneficial.
