Sorry to say for me there was no difference. Didn't even really notice a difference cruising 55-70. I'm up in altitude and Bob may have tuned a bit Rich. I have a back wind Restrictor too. I think I'm going to break down and get a medium length spoiler from SlingMods for my Fathers Day to me from me gift! Anyone know if there is a discount code for this weekend?

Check here - Ebay is 20% off until 8 today | Polaris Slingshot Forum Don't know if SlingMods has it listed there, but maybe...

My MISTAKE - Code expired back in MARCH! Fudge, I was about to use it myself!

Most of the better tire websites list the wheel width(s) that work with each size of their tires. They will often list recommended minimum and maximum wheel widths along with the width they recommend for best fitment and performance. Nitto, for example, lists their 315/35R17 tires as fitting rim widths of 10.5 - 12.5" with a recommended 11" rim width for best fit.
If you can't find the info on a specific tire manufacturer' website, Budnik offers a generalized guide here - Helpful Tire Info - BUDNIK. I included a portion of the chart to show how recommended wheel widths also change as the tire profile ratio decreases (recommended wheel width goes up for lower profile tires).

I bought some thin Alum. from Home Depot to make the pieces, and I am going to do the same thing with the rivets. I am just going to bend a 45 degree bend at 1 inch, leaving 2 inches to hang down from the cross piece on the frame. 11 inches long for the two sides and 14 inches for the center

Just watch for roadkill and other road debris as the aluminum may need occasional restraightening.

I told my Wife the other day that we had been living in Texas too long. I had noticed how much cooler it felt when the temp dropped from 97 to 95F. That was on a rare day when we had decent humidity. Unfortunately, we usually have elevated humidity along the Gulf Coast for 4-5 months along with temps over 80F for 6 months of the year.

Healthy paranoia when dealing with a new subject can be a good thing. Better safe, than sorry. I'm still new to driving a vehicle w/an aftermarket turbo kit that doesn't have all of the built-in safety controls a factory system has as I only have a little over 4000 miles since I finished my install back in February.
I've also posted some links on driving turbo vehicles. If you haven't seen them, go here - Tips on turbos and driving

Can I use synthetic oil | Polaris Slingshot Forum, Post # 4.
Personally, I use Valvoline Full Synthetic High Mileage 5W30 because it rated well on RAT540s blog, but I am considering a heavier 5W40 oil for future oil changes. Based on the two threads above, a Full Synthetic 5W30 or 5W40 should meet our needs. As long as you use one of the name brands, you should be OK. If you want to be extra safe and for peace of mind, once you find a candidate oil, check how it's ranked on 540 RAT - Tech Facts, NOT Myths or http://www.bobistheoilguy.com. I prefer 540rat since I feel it's easier to find the oil ratings.

While stationed with the Army in West Berlin in the mid-1970s, we bowled in my Wife's Air Force bowling league. Normally, if I had a bad toss, I'd slap the scorer's table. One night we weren't able to make it and a friend of ours slapped the scorer's table after a bad toss, got electrocuted and his heart stopped. They were able to revive him and we had commemorative mugs made showing a guy being fried by electricity!

No experience playing with lightning, but I cut m y first power cord at the age of 4. My Uncle, an Electrician, said he thought it was really funny how I went rolling across the floor claiming it bit me! The scissors I used got welded closed or so I was told.

Cycle gear used to carry a relatively cheap LED license plate light, but I didn't see it when I just checked. If you don't insist on OEM compatibility, EBay and Amazon both offer inexpensive lights that should meet your needs for illuminating the license plate.

Before I retired as an Army civilian, one of the projects I ran surveyed foreign websites for comments about the US and we wanted to try collecting pics from those websites. I had a young lady on the team who sat next to my position and one of the very first pics we viewed was of a naked young woman spread-eagled advertising her wares and I immediately heard a loud gasp next to me. It didn't take long to determine our picture filtering capabilities didn't work well enough to continue the effort!

Been thinking about having a whole-house surge protector installed in our electrical panel to augment all of the individual surge protectors/UPS's we have on the electronics. Just realized my Wife's recliner motor isn't protected. The're relatively cheap now.
Did the lightning strike the weather station?

The Army sent me to California, West Berlin and Taxachussetts and we actually enjoyed all three. In September 2017, the Wife and I got a chance to go back to Berlin and visit after 40 years. Had a great time and realized how much we missed Berlin. She was in the Air Force back then and I was Army. We worked different shifts and had 1 day off together every 2 weeks or so. Probably why we're still together after 44+ years as that made us appreciate our time together.

I was stationed at the US Army Presidio of Monterey twice while attending/working at the language school and also went TDY to Santa Barbara a lot. We liked California, just couldn't afford to live there!

On a whim, I just emailed the Texas DMV asking if a four-wheel conversion kit that basically bolts to the Polaris Slingshot's rear wheel suspension points would cause any registration/licensing problems. Of course, I then checked the Trak Hamr website and it looks like it doesn't use the suspension points on the Slingshot.
