That was taken last year on our way out to SSITR North East of Moab, UT. Starting on the left @adventure4me Larry & Bryan, mine then @1poser.
-
Looks like I will have them for the trip to the Rockies.
-
Will the top fit if you have Slingwings?
-
Myself "Tony" and girlfriend "Kasey" for my second year.
-
@mniron will you be in the Rockies installing buttons this year?
-
Ok, here's my thoughts @Bugeater @Cywolv
meet in Vegas Saturday morning and start heading north on I-15 going thru Zion National Park to hwy 89 ending in Torrey UT which is Capital Reef National Park. It's 330mi and with stops should take 6-61/2 hrs to Torrey then stay the night.7/9/17 Sunday
Torrey UT through Moab ending in Ouray CO hwy 550, another 6-61/2 hr day doing 303mi.
You've done these roads Tony and you know how beautiful they are.7/10/17 Monday
Ouray down hwy 550 (awesome road!) to Pagosa Springs 4-4 1/2hrs with stops or really take our time and stretch it out, but Pagosa Springs is a must if you've never been to the Hot Springs Resort! There are plenty of lodging options so you don't have to stay at the resort, but you have to spend time in the Hot Springs!7/11/17 Tuesday
Pagosa Springs to Avon Comfort Inn is a 5hr 231mi ride. This'll get us up there a day early or we can stay somewhere else before Avon, but vendors roll in on Tuesday to set up.
Let me know what you think and anyone else is welcome on this journey if you have the time and the Aloha spirit.
I booked the room in Avon starting that Tuesday night 7/11. I have to work on Friday so getting to Las Vegas on Saturday morning will be tough with an 8 Hour drive. We may have to try and meet up with you on Sunday or Monday. -
I like the idea of meeting in Las Vegas. Meeting Saturday night will allow us to take a scenic 3 day drive otherwise we meet Sunday night and drive straight to the event. Any thoughts?

welcome!!
If you have not already be sure to join Norcal slingshot riders on Facebook. -
HWY 128 North East out of Moab. We stopped at Castle Creek Winery. I also remember bottoming out on the cattle guards trying to keep up with Victor on the long straight road.
I'm hoping to take that road again or maybe Highway 550
-
Thank you. I will find Moab on the map and find the highway from there. Once we decide on a final route I will let you know.

@adventure4me. @1poserDo you remember the location of the road along the Colorado River where we took these pictures and stopped at the winery on our way out to Colorado? I think it's called the million dollar highway and it may have been after we left Silverton. We are planning our trip out to Colorado and I thinking of taking this road again.

All signed up!! It's going to be a lonely drive from California without @ivor and @adventure4me. Is anyone else from California attending? @1poser ?
-
Very nice rims Anita! And you purchased them without @1poser and I standing behind you whispering "buy it Anita"

Has anyone tried running nitrogen in their tires and if so have you noticed any difference in the handling? The link below claims there's not a huge benefit for the cost but slingshot owners will do anything to get a little edge.

See the picture I posted above for the exact title. Are you searching Bay Area or San Francisco?

The app is called Meetup

The Bay Area slingshots on the meet up app seems to be a good source for activities. There is also a Facebook page for the group.
Try taking Highway 49 to Mariposa when you have a chance. They call it the mini Tail of the Dragon.

I noticed this diagram shows the wires for the rear speakers. Has anyone tried connecting those with RCA's to an amplifier? I may have to try that one day if I can find them.
-
I'm hoping to make it again this year. Maybe we can get another group together for the drive out from California. It's nice to be in a pack on those long drives.
