Why can't I just take it to a automobile alignment shop?

Just got the call on my Polaris Slingshot. They found the problem. Corroded wires in the wiring harness near the battery! They are closed tomorrow and Monday. I should have it back on Tuesday.

Can you find out more on what they mean on corroded wires... Do they mean the wire ends and connectors or do wires need to be changed themselves ????
I'll ask. Not open until Tuesday.

They finally got the new ECU programmed. It did not fix the issue.
They discovered today that there is a significant voltage drop PRIOR to the ABS module, which they replaced.
Now they need to find out what is causing the voltage drop.
Anyone?

clutch switch or brake switch I think.
Brake switches have been replaced. Same issue.

Correct. They cannot get them to go off and I noticed right away that the system is not working because it was driving really squirrelly!
They local dealer has tried everything and had to reach out to Polaris headquarters for technical assistance. They are still unable to fix the issue and all the labor and fixes they have tried so far are on my dime!
I just want my Slingshot fixed so I can return to surfing the asphalt!

Still nothing. They keep trying things that Polaris recommends but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone else ever had the ABS and Traction Control lights illuminate? What was the solution?

The dealership was unable to repair. They think it's a bad module and reached out to Polaris for help. Waiting for them to respond.

Can anyone help with this? ABS and traction control lights stay illuminated.
Can you set them up for me in advance if I tell you what I'm looking for? Your website says out of stock.

Sure, we can set them up in advance, the instructions that come with them also have suggestions for starting points depending on how you want them to handle. If you have any questions about setting them up after, you can give us a call, text or message here and we can help you get them setup to your liking. I did check this morning, we have another pallet of shocks on order that is expected to ship in about 2 weeks. The other options we offer are in stock and ship in 1-2 days depending on color.
I'll call you later today. Thanks.

They are a nice improvement over stock for sure, made by QA1, ride quaility will improve over bumps and that was one of the first options out there for the Slingshot
For the same price you can also look at getting the DDMWorks 3 way adjustables that do have more adjustment range than the twist or any other 2 way adjustable coilovers out there. The 2 way adjustable coilovers typically allow change in ride height and rebound damping only. The 3 way allow adjustment of ride height, rebound and compression individually, which allows a more customized ride. If you have any other questions about them, let us know. Dave

Has anyone had to have any front end parts replaced due to wear and tear? Bushings, tie rods, bearings, etc.?
Sent from my SM-G986U1 using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app
The dealership recommended it. Said it should be done periodically.

Hello, my wheels don't have uneven wear. My steering wheel is centered. 2015 SS. Should I get a laser assignment? Dealer charges $199.

2015 Slingshot. Does anyone know if there has ever been a software update for the entertainment system? Something the dealership would do?

Don't think so. From what I've heard the radios in the newer Slingshot are not much better. I use a memory stick with the USB port in the glove box for my music. Works for me.
