Great ride,.. not for the faint of heart. Close to the edge of drop off in many areas. Dress properly, it's cold at the top, even in the summer you may need a lite jacket

Used to live in Maine and I've been up the auto road several times on a motorcycle. 80 degrees at the bottom didn't mean 80 at the top. Cold and windy was the usual but it's a ride/trip everyone should make at least once. Beautiful area.
