I actually did buy a Go Pro a few years back but found out how much trouble it was to edit and down load. So it was not long before I sold it. Like I told my Grand daughter Pa's brain is full and he is not learning anything else. Now just remember that electronics and computers paid the bills for almost 50 years. I hate COMPUTERS!

I feel you brother. Now just for clarification, I meant my remarks in a nice way. Your comments and experiences are always welcome even if you do reside in the real Carolina. Go Heels.

WOW!! This is so sad as one of the greatest ICONs in the Slingshot world is leaving the building. Sam, thanks for all that you did to support us and provide us with the most basic maintenance skills and general knowledge. You cannot be replaced and we all wish you well. God's Speed!!!!

I am trying to register for SSITS 2020 for my wife and me. When I fill out the form, the total keeps coming up to $109 rather than $89. How do I fix this so I can register? I sent this message to IVOR but was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

Folks: My bad. I thought the $30 for extra guest included a free T-shirt but it does not. The T-shirt is $20 extra.

I have the Alpha turbo with 9 to 10 psi which is probably as close as you can get without internal mods to allow more boost. IMHO, I love my turbo and if you decide to go with it, I would get as much as I can out of it and get the best bang for your buck. However, in the meantime, if you do not have the Pedal Commander, get it as you might be happy with the way it responds. Good luck.

Miller Time, I haven't actually installed the EBay Bosch 17025 O2 sensor I referenced above, but now that I've removed my TD Top and the dash, I was able to compare the two connectors. Both connectors use the same color wires in the same positions, so I'd assume the two are compatible. Over the next week or so, I plan on replacing the O2 sensor for my SCG-1 AFR/Boost gauge along with trying to remember to grease my U-joint and replacing the trans fluid and angle drive lube and inspect my rear fuse block, so I should know for sure in a week or so.

Thanks for update. Just let me know when you know for sure.

I figure you are going to get a lot of responses to your questions. I did my due diligence and decided to go with twist dynamics canvas top. The deciding factor on this was that I was able to install and take off a luggage rack across the top. I can also take the canvas off very easily and store it during days when the sun feels good on you.

Just for the record, I have the 2 1/2" Welter exhaust for turbo/supercharger application and there is no rubbing on my 20" tire or the Assault fender I have as well. The Y-Pipe is about 1/2" from the rear panel and has not caused any heat issues with being that close.

On another note, Jeff has always been responsive to any of my questions either by email or phone, however, all of his support was prior to going to Twist Dynamics. It is disappointing to hear that you are not getting the support you need or would like from him when most of us are happy with his product. I feel confident you will get your issue fixed if you do not give up.

I had the opportunity to test my Pedal Cdr today and in a few words, the throttle response was amazing. I kept it at Sport +1 so I can only imagine how much more responsive it would be at a higher level. This is one of the best Mods I have bought from Slingmods and glad I did. Kudos to Pedal Commander for a great product for the Slingshot.

That being said, the only negative I have, and it is not a huge one, is the LED illumination could be brighter. In the daylight, it is difficult to see what settings you have it set at. Other than that, the Pedal Cdr is good to go and worth the money for the 2 days I have had it. If it remains durable and lasts, I highly recommend it.

I posted this question in a previous post in this thread but it was mixed in with other information and many of you may have missed it. What setting works best for you doing NORMAL driving , understanding it will change depending on circumstances? I have seen 3 now where one liked the Sport Mode with +1 sensitivity and 2 folks have it set for Sport Mode with +3 sensitivity. I understand many of you just received your Pedal Cdr and are trying to figure out your normal driving setting and you may not have figured it out yet.

Were you able to get the light to go off? When you say it quit working were you still able to accelerate or was the slingshot dead until you were able to reinstall it? So far it seems your the only one with a potential issue so you got my attention.

I got mine yesterday as well. Planning on hooking it up today if the rain moves out.

My issue was a self inflicted wound. The problem was that I had taken off my gas pedal plug and left it off for over an hour before I installed the Pedal Cdr. The instructions state and I did not read it: "If you unplug the gas pedal too soon, you will receive a check engine light because the vehicle's computer still has power and has detected a sensor was unplugged". Anyway, I was going to disconnect the battery to see if it would clear the check engine light. Before I did that, I restarted my SS 3 times and on the 3rd try the check engine light went away. In essence, good to go now!!!

A special thanks to WOKKA for his recommendation. The 3 restarts solved the issue without disconnecting the battery.

I have a question for those of you who have installed their Pedal Cdr: What setting works best for you since I have not tried it yet? I have seen 2 where one liked the Sport Mode with +1 sensitivity and another with Sport Mode with +3 sensitivity.

Installed the Pedal Commander and all seemed good for a few seconds and when I started to take off, my engine light came on and the pedal cdr quick working. I turned off my SS and reinstalled the Pedal Cdr. It seems to work but cannot get the engine light to go off. Any recommendations without taking it to the dealership? (Maybe disconnecting and reconnecting the battery)

I tried that this morning. Will post about it tonight. But adjusting it while on the gas you can feel it giving more or less depending on which way you adjust. I will say that sport + mode is crazy touchy adjust up. Need good open road for that mode. Sport mode has been great so far this morning.

Just let us know which mode you liked the best and the setting. Thx for your volunteering in providing a review for the rest of us. I feel confident that Slingmods will provide you a better than group discount for your support.
