Signed and my INTENT is for the overriding of the FBI directors recommendation.

A hood scoop that air goes into rather than a vented hood insert.

Cool and very innovative.

I have had a set for over a year now and two of the 4 have quit working even with new batteries in them. Even after a couple of months when they were on, at least one of them was not working when I got home after a short drive. In my estimation, not worth the money.

I guess I just never noticed it. It just seems like seasons don't really exist anymore. It just goes from "Shit it's hot" to "Damn it's cold". There is no spring and fall where the temps are mild and nice.
I walked outside and I think i had a mild stroke! I actually have trouble doing anything in this heat. (cause I'm fat and out of shape) and also because it's 93 and the humidity is 99%.
Well it is only going to get hotter in AL over the next 10 days. So, just go outside, take your shirt off (or NOT) and get acclimated to it. LOL

Like @Bill Martin said, this race is too important to sit out in protest because the system is messed up. If one says "their both bad so I'm not going to vote" or "I'm voting for someone who is qualified that no one has heard of", your not helping the country or yourself. You need to figure out which one of the two major players "say" they are closest to your values and vote accordingly. We may end up worse off that what we are but no one will be able to say we didn't try. just my .02
Personally, I am torn between the 2 worst candidates that have ever run and been nominated by their respective parties. However, I have to agree that a wasted vote is of no value on a 3rd party who unfortunately, has no chance at winning THIS election. Therefore, I am deferring my decision on who to vote for based on the results of the upcoming debates. To say the least, they should be entertaining and hopefully will determine which way I vote even though my eyes will probably be shut.

They do work with the Assault fender. Had them put the dual on in Maggie, I like the sound of it, plus the exhaust noise is behind you. I do not know about the mileage, I was already getting 34 mpg. I have not checked the mileage since having the dual installed and getting Bob's tune up in Maggie on Wednesday. You should have heard that sucker paying off keeping up with @rabtech .
Fun: In calculating your MPG, are you going by the odometer MPG or are you actually checking the mileage at the pump with miles driven and gas added? My odometer depicts 34 MPG but I am actually getting only 26.8 at the pump. On another note, I do like the looks of the exhaust and the sound. If they can get it to fit with the Assault fender with the Alpha turbo, I probably will purchase it.

It would take more than that for me to trust her.

Mark and I arrived home yesterday from SSITS.I would like to thank all of you that attended and helped to make this event into a really fun successful meetup. The weather was iffy at times.I know the ride home was difficult for many.We were towing the Slingshot and ran through some really nasty weather but complaints were rare.
Thank you to Stickerdick whose help was invaluable.Mark spent hours and hours helping to make this event a success. Also to Macaws and his wife, and my son Mach 1.
We had a great bunch of vendors.Everyone of them told me they had a successful show.
The 3rd annual Slingshots in the Smokies will take place May 30-June 4 2017 in Maggie Valley,
I will post details later today.
Once again thanks fou making Slingshotroadsters event SSITS so successful. It is much appreciated.
You guys are one great bunch of folk.Food for thought Ivor. Has anyone queried the SS community/family to see if there is an interest in having more than one event p/year? Would it be feasible to have a spring and fall SSITS rally like a lot of 2 wheel bikes have ? It does not necessarily have to be in the same location but it would be great if could be. The SS community is growing and SSITS can grow with it.
-
Wonder who had the shortest ride to SSITS? I have to drive a whoppin 113 miles; a little less than 2 hours. Leaving around 8 am this morning.
-
I seriously doubt that anyone would be so stupid to do this at SSITS. They would have to get tired with over 220 SS on the road.

The only memory I lost was which terminal went on which post of the battery (j/k). No, you don't lose any radio presets, or have any ecu issues when changing out a battery. I'm not sure how long the retained power is functioning, but it's long enough to change out the battery without any concerns. After 5 minutes without power, the ecu MAY relearn some of the driving "habits' and react a tad different for a few start/stop cycles, but most people would never notice it. Hope this helsp some
Yes it did. Thanks fun!!!

Folks: When replacing or disconnecting the battery, do you lose any memory in the infotainment center such as the radio channels? What about any issues with the ECU? I want to switch to the Optima Blue top battery but wanted to see if I need to keep my SS charged up while replacing the battery.

I may have missed this somewhere but "Are the same brake pads used for all 3 wheels?"
