Do you have a link to the kit you ordered and then links to the other parts that are needed? I know you mentioned a kit and some description of things. Although if you have all the links. I can just order the parts from it would be awesome. Thank you for putting this together!!!

A man answered an ad that read "Hiring welders $18-$24 @ hour". When he arrived he was told he'd have to take a welding test. He turned in 2 sets of welds. When the boss asked him why he did this he replied "One is $18@hr, the other is $24@hr". Just let that one soak in.

It's been pretty crazy starting Saturday here in Houston. This is the street my warehose is on. I have not been able to get to it yet. Home is safe here in Houston.

thanks! Look forward to update the end of the week

Thanks. I'm looking forward to getting installed on my sling. I been waiting very very paitently for @Jeff@DDMWorks and @Dave@DDMWorks to finish my sling. I am kinda in the dark as to when it will be done. They were planning to call me today. But I am still waiting for the update seeing how this past weekends date changed.

Yeah @QuickSilverSS, I was just hoping I could replace all three on my SLR with these.
okay I see where you are going with that now.

Currently using RE-71R's on the fronts on a base model -- stock size. I chose to stay with the stock size as I was trying to minimize unsprung weight. Using very light Enkei RPF1 wheels and top-hat brake rotors, I removed over 10lbs from each front wheel. Handles great. Floats over bumps, doesn't get upset when cornering hard on rough roads. These tires have great grip without any need to warm them up. Like other soft rubber tires, these tend to toss rocks and gravel. I managed to remove almost 20 lbs from the rear wheel, which really got rid of a lot of the clunkyness from the rear. The RPF1 model wheel will not clear the brakes on the rear -- had to use an Enkei PF01 (slightly heavier). I got rid of over 7 lbs from the rear wheel assembly by replacing the heavy cast iron drive sprocket with an alloy one. Currently running a Mickey Thompson Sportsman tire on the rear, but will be switching it out to a wider Mickey Thompson DOT drag tire. Just can't get enough grip in the rear...
Nice! Glad to hear a good tire experience! I ordered for my 20" x 9" wheels a 245/35R20 so I hope to update in a week when they arrive.
Here is the MT ET street SS I just put on, very similar tread pattern, so I think it will look good.

Looks like an interesting tire. It doesn't look like they have a 305 though.
305 would be extremely wide for a font tire, I would think. I am looking at these for front wheels. Not Rear. The Rear I put on a 345/35R18

They seam to have a great rating.

FYI image is a stock image photo that is a different size. Not the size I'm considering.
Opinions please.

Wow so Better fuel mileage from the oil? Or was it because Highway speeds rather than stop and go city driving? Glad to hear it runs good. Sounds like this is the new standard for us built engine and supercharged slingshots. I am glad @Dave@DDMWorks found the optimum oil for these forced induction machines.

Well, not quite200 miles on fresh engine, and fixing to put about 400 miles on it tomorrow, went ahead and changed it out to 10-30 VR1.....
Seems like it's running better already!!
Really, it's worth the peice of mind having the good stuff in, I may try a bounce off the rev limiter now...So Joe Did you end up putting in this VR1 10-30 oil and go on this ride? Whats the update?

Side note!! I finally pulled the trigger to get custom wheels from Jason at Get your Wheels. We decided on a forged set of custom wheels.20" x9" for the fronts and 18" x 12" for the read. Here is a photo. It takes 5 weeks to get them and the are almost here. They arrive to my shop tomorrow just in time to be installed this weekend on my sling.

After months of waiting and then many delays to get it finished in that past few weeks and many date changes. The last date of Aug 12th which I mentioned a few posts up got moved. It was for a good call when Dave decided replacing a part that did not pass his quality standards. He had to overnight the parts and which delayed us two more weeks. We are now in the home stretch of the the 72 Hour count down. I will be getting my sling on the 26th this Saturday afternoon.
This beast is getting a NEW Built motor, Cams, Haltech tuning, and all the odd and ends that needed to be completed. WOW this is going to be a beast. I can't wait to see the new Dyno numbers on video and pics of it on the dyno. Can't wait to hear its growl with that custom exhaust they put on it.

Slingshot Houston Poker Run 1.0 Update!
Hotel Information: L'Auberge Lake Charles - 777 Avenue L'Auberge, Lake Charles, LA 70601 - 337.395.7777
We currently have a Courtesy Block of Rooms at a special rate of only $219.00 for Saturday October 14th. The normal rate for booking a room on Saturday is $369 when you try to book for the weekend before. This Date at the hotel will sell out so it is important we all reserve our rooms by September 2nd 2017.
We need to lock in a minimum of 20 rooms to get this rate. We can add more as needed to get this rate as long as the hotel has availability. At this time they have given me till September 2nd to lock in all the rooms. At time or sooner we can call to reserve our room under the room block. We cannot reserve rooms till we have the block confirmed. Your credit card will not be charged till we check into our hotels the night of the event.
All the hotel needs is Your Name, Credit Card Info and The Block code which I will have once we confirmed we hit the minimum 20 rooms.
I am assuming we should have at least 50 rooms as we typically have 60-70 Slings in the last few events.
Please comment below so we can get a tally of exactly how many are confirmed. Once we have 20 or more we will sign the contract and at that point we will be locked in at this rate.
