Arranging all my spaghetti...
Makes me feel better about mine now
Just wanted to update everyone on this.
Perfect fit including the plug - I did find that some models have a different plug than what is on the Slingshot if you find another option that looks the same make sure you check the plug. This is a new unit not a refurb and there is no core charge. Delivery is Free. I noticed later they sell on Amazom for the same price + Tax but guaranteed 2 day delivery. Mine took 3 day - easy swap.
Thanks Mitch, got it bookmarked
REALLY???? No OG is jumping on this? Have I been away that long? After all,... the words breeding and cum in the same sentence?WOW!
We've missed ya
We're heading for Montana from Oregon here in September and would like to tow the Grasshopper. Initially I thought WOW, this just may be the way to go, and then I checked on rental costs, $600 for 12 days, back to looking to purchasing!
Bill
Hey Bill, if you're going to make a base camp in Montana try pricing the trailer one way each way. I recently got a quote for 150 for three days one way from Ohio to north Carolina. Might be less for less time. You can reserve it ahead of time. Might be worth a look
Birthday + Saturday = Party
Hope you have an awesome day
Anyone else notice that this thread (being our largest on the forums), is taking longer and longer to load. It's the only thread that I get a delay.
Granted, it could be something on my end, but curious if others are seeing it.
And I thought it was just me being impatient
Sounds like clock spring to me. You could also look at the horn wires and make sure sure they are not shorting across to each other making the horn blow.
I'll 2nd that, either way it's coming off
My rear brake is rusting and Iam looking for ideas to cover or paint. $79 for a cover seems steep. Any pictures would be helpful.
I painted mine
Thank you for the pics, the racks look great, but I gotta know because you really can't see in the pictures if that's an OEM Slingshade from Polaris

Treated myself to a Birthday ride yesterday at lunch. Headed out to a restaurant about 30 minutes from work. Got to the restaurant and just kept going!
2 hours later I was back at the shop!!
Now that's a proper birthday ride, glad you could enjoy part of your day
Happy birthday Jimmy, hope you had a great day
I have the TD version of the top, and I like it, but if this top had been out when I bought mine, I'd have gone with it : https://allthingsslingshot.com…ts/ez-out-t-bar-top-frame
He has both a soft and hard top to go on that frame.
Once I saw this in person, I almost bought it and was trying to figure out an easy way to sell my TD, just didn't pull the trigger on it. Had a slight engine problem at the same time, which took priority.
Slight???
Hwy 63 Honolulu rented a orange slingshot for two days
Bonnie says...you go Harvey.
Work hard - play harder
Hope you have a great time 😊
Marco Tornado... I can take pics
Good choice...they'll hear you now 😁
Installed the horn this morning... Much better!
So which one did you choose? No pics?
When I installed wheel lights I used a kit that included a adapter that plugged into the driver's side taillight for a signal wire. Used a relay so all your doing is triggering the relay.
Hope this helps
lots of responses and lots of choices. I'm with funcycle on this one, Marco tornado but I'm running it in conjunction with the OEM horn. Pretty much anything will be a improvement 📯
Happy birthday lowlander ...Hope it's the best one ever!
