Anyone have any pictures or idea on how to properly remove the wire connector on the bottom of the passenger seat?
It doesn't seem to have a clip that I can undo and slid it out.
Thanks!

Just got it from Slingmods about 3-4 weeks ago. Not sure if it's apart of those or not.

Yes! I'm hoping they will be able to check it out first hand and tell me either that I'm ridiculous and don't know what I'm talking about lol or that there is an issue with the exhaust.
If there is an issue, im wondering/hoping we can do something to get it taken care of.
Thank you @DKF Texas

@Alpha Media @slingmods are you guys going to be in Kerrville TX at the Slingshot event in April? I have the Alpha CAI, Alpha Headers, and Alpha Variable Exhaust installed. I am getting this really weird buzzing/rattling sound on the exhaust as I let off the gas.
I wanted to give it some miles to break in and see if it would fix it, but that doesn't seem to help. I want to say I love the current set up and I pretty much do, but that rattle is bothering me so bad, that I'm considering a change or going back to the stock exhaust (please no...) it makes me cringe when coming to a stop.
Is there something that can help? I was looking at some others posts on the Alpha Variable Exhaust and some had the same issue. They don't know if the baffle was lose or what. I believe one guy mailed his back to @slingmods and they replaced it and that fixed his issue. Not sure if I got a lemon or what the deal is. Any feedback or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys as you've been great to deal with.

I drive with my RGB rings set on red. I had an officer at the gas station tell me he thought they were awesome and he liked the SS. I know that I probably shouldn't do it. But from my experiences, if you're respectful and play nice, they are usually the same.

Lol. Good stuff

$4k... is that all? Buddy, you're just getting started
Yeah I'm just getting started lol, it's been less than 2 months. The events are going to scare me. I have terrible impulse control... everything is a "must have"
I blame @Rob the Slob and others that are SC'd... it just looks too damn fun to not do it. @V-SHOT had me a little sold on taking it slow... until the end of his message lol. I definitely have not taken the V-Shot approach to owning a Slingshot. Purchased it at the end of December and have dumped right below $4K and already looking to go boosted... owning a Slingshot is bad news on my bank account... I have a lot to think about in the next week or two so I can inform DDM in time if I go that route
@Dave@DDMWorks what's your phone number?
The SS looks very nice! Love the rims and seats.
Very sorry for your loss @Slunglow
Those are sweet! Nice @STYLN
STAND BY FOR A RANT AND RAVE BY YOURS TRULY!!!
I just got a call from my Dealer a little while ago. He politely informed me, his mechanic has to accomplish some extra work on my Sling in order to do some of the recall work. A lot of it has to do with moving the Welter Dual Rear Exhaust. WTF!?!?!? When I dropped off the Sling, I asked about the LEDs I have on the Swing Arm. I told them if they could just undo the 3M tape, I would bring some back (when I come back to pick up the Sling on Thursday) and just fix it myself. They said they would take care of that for no charge.
Anyway, back to the original subject...
Dealership calls me and says it is going to cast me $85 for the additional labor they have to expend on moving my "aftermarket" gear out of the way, so they can do the recall. They said they spoke with Polaris, and was told that the folks at Polaris would not cover that expense. The guy at my Dealership is a pretty stand-up kinda' guy. He gave me the number to Polaris Customer Service and told me to call them and explain the situation myself. He said he has seen this having more affect than the Dealership requesting compensation. In a nutshell, Polaris told me the same thing they told my Dealer. After a few choice words, I called the Dealership back. This is where it gets even better. The Dealership informed me to not even worry about the $85. They were going to absorb the cost of the Labor. This is why I keep coming back to the same Dealership!!!!
Has anyone else had to deal with this type of issue????
RANT officially over. You my now return to your regularly scheduled program.
I must say, I felt the anger in your words rising as the story continued, but at the end, when the dealer said they would absorb the cost, I felt like it was a great showmanship on the Dealer's side and shows that they are willing to work with people. Glad that got situated though.
DEI or Polaris. I am more curious if the over all heat over long periods of time could possibly cause some sort of warping on the plastics? It may seem far fetched, more of a curiosity question.
I guess im referring to the heat reduction kit. Forgive my ignorance.
Or is the whole purpose of the reduction kit to just reduce the heat that passengers feel?
