Sorry guys.... I'll be paying after this weekend but that's solid 6 if no others have said yes.
Who wants to find out how well a Jeep Gladiator tracks..

Well.... Being NA I'm really down to just having the balls to brake late and push the corners as hard as I can. The straight away is not my friend. I have concentrated on down force so will have the unwanted drag.
Omg..... Damn!
He was kicking our butts the last time so no real news there...
Just tagged in as a strong Maybe....
I still have to double check a few things. Didn't want to loose my spot
Electric is coming... Is it the answer?
I think we are on the brink of some amazing breakthroughs that may even make electric look like a dinosaur...
I am currently running a 555g2 for my get around tire and I like you am not a fan of it. It doesn't have the traction in a straight line or in the curves that I would like. On the other hand it doesn't seem to be wearing very fast for all the spinning that it's doing. It will likely be replaced with a T1R when it goes and I may go ahead and replace the nitto's that I put on the front at the same time. On the flip side I did try a set of tires this weekend that I was impressed with. The r888r's are the real deal. They can be broken loose in the turns but you gotta be pressing it pretty hard. I am sure they would wear out quickly if I kept them on for everyday driving but that's not the plan. I bought them for a track day that I did not get to attend so I wanted to try them out for a weekend in the mountains and they did great. jes my .o2
I will be looking for something else in the rear. I'm happy with the G2's up front but the 20" 285 in the rear has never real been able to hook up like I want. Very easy to start spinning and that's in a NA sling. Do have a set of 18" rims for track day and will be getting some comp type tires for those.
Polaris won't go electric until they can make money from it. 5 years is a reasonable estimate. But I wouldn't put money on it...
The Indian brand will get an electric motorcycle first. Polaris has already commented on this based off the purchase of Brammo. It will be within 5 years and will be aimed at pleasure and performance riding rather than city commuting. 120-140 mile range. They already offer an electric Ranger and have a small electric city .
I'm sure they have discussed this many times.
60lbs is 60lbs and the lower the better...
I know it is a ridiculously long ride for you but we have a track day coming up in December at Roebling Road - road course in Savanna GA.
Great track..... and on site pushing crew
What is the current update on that... Kind of been out of the loop the last month or so. Life was happening and needed to take care of things. Looking forward to a good time. Basically out of vacation time so January would also work well for me...
No MT offered will be a mistake. No real reason it could not be offered alongside an auto or CVT.
I have also wondered when or if an electric version would or could be offered. Loose drive train keep one drive motor. Batteries in front and where gas tank is located. Although the rear gas tank location is sitting rather high for good CG. Brings me to another point I have always wondered about for better handling. Relocation of gas tank into two set low in the two rear storage cubbies would bring the rear weight location much lower and in line with most of the vehicle.
Yep.... Looks like some we're not properly greased.
We are looking into full one-pcs replacements as an aftermarket product.
Will Stewart the quickshade was designed from day one to offer best possible visibility and ease of entry without affecting coverage. Fine balance for sure. Very happy to hear you are enjoying the top. Thanks
Stage one complete. Wheels tires and lift....
Lift kit, wheels and tires have been mounted. will share photos tomorrow. just too tired tonight.
Guess you know my X
Damn.....
since the holes are filled now I am in no hurry
Thanks brother
Thats what she said.....
Also if good I'm going to see how to offer these for the Sling.
Can I get a model number from you. I want to replace the LED clover lights with something that has more distance. Can you recommend a 3.5" Light that your company makes. I am more interested in a good light that will have a long beam than price. It is dark as hell around here at night.
The LED headlights are bright white but do not go far
Thanks
Let me see..... Honestly we are about to test some 3.5" laser lights. These are the next step past LEDs.... I would recommend holding off for this. As I get more info I'll let you know. Have samples heading my way. If good we will show them at SEMA. Very clean looking.
Looking very much forward to see where you are going with this!
Starts tomorrow. 2.5" lift and 37" tires. Have a Super chip tuner on the way. Bed cover already installed. SEMA us close so a lot of preproduction samples will be installed. New snorkel, bumper, winch, headlight guards, sun shade, tube doors (for the good weather days) and cowl light mounts. After all that we are working on bed related accessories so that will be the next area. Product testing can suck. With all that was there really any questions about me getting one of these or not. Fortunate to have two jobs I enjoy.
