I miss sliding down the back of my dinosaur after getting off work, apparently now that’s frowned upon by MSHA...safety thingy they say....

I put a Michelin super sport on rear, liked it so much I put 2 back there!!
-
The bigger ones don’t bother me at all, the babies look like tiny sticks though, and they freeze still if you get close, I have almost stepped on them a few times around the house..... ah country life!
Side note, strange but I have looked for rattle snakes around here but never saw one yet.
I did have a 6 foot gator we kept in our basement when I was 7 years old, used to carry him around like a suit case, we kept a kiddie pool down there for him to soak. Somebody snitched to city though, Detroit, and boy, we got in trouble, had many 10-12 foot pythons amongst other reptiles 🤪

I normally don’t kill snakes, but last year wife’s corgi got bit on nose, he’s ok.... so I went and n front porch and killed 7 in about 10 minutes.
I picked up the one I figured bit the dog as it was right under front shrub by door, she slams door on me yelling at me to kill it, I know how to handle venomous snakes but she was not impressed, guess it was time to thin the heard around the house ..... ( I didn’t kill em all though!😱)

Don't forget to check your local dealer for take off's. You can usually get a stock 20" rear take off with rubber for probably $200 for the single tire. I know Alamo Cycle Plex in San Antonio has lots. A couple $100 bills goes a long way there. Then you would have 4 matching stock wheels and tires that you could do whatever you want with.
That’s why I chose to powder coat my factory wheels, they IMO have a really good look, just needed some color!👍

No, but I'd like to. As soon as this pandemic is over, I'm hoping to schedule a time to go visit them, let them peak at my trakhamr install if they would let me put them side by side to show. DF is within an easy ride from my house.
maybe after all this Corn Teen stuff is over we can get together..

Yup, these photos you guys posting is just what I wanted to see.... when you look back, it’s amazing how far you brought them!

There was a similar thread to this somewhere - that I can't find now. I remember I posted the changes for the 3 SS's at the time but dang if I could find it now. Maybe someone can help?
(BTW, searching at the other site doesn't go past their recent (6 months ago) software change. I even just looked for everything I had ever posted, but it wouldn't find it.)
I looked before I posted and didn’t see one like this but in my defense, I never seem to find threads whenever I try to search, I’m sure I am using wrong phrase words... -
Dang that looks great!!!

Most of my mods would go unnoticed to the untrained eye - probably the only one non slingshot owners might catch would be the double bubble windshields. The top would also get noticed if it were on the sling, but 99% of the time its hanging in the garage so not so much.
Oh yea, I hear ya!!
Under my hood it looks quite different also but I don’t care to open it much, let the Whistle sound leave them wondering.....

I have my first picture the day I drove my new 16.5 SS home and as of today. This has been my Leukemia healing project and it’s been a whole lot fun!!!
Let’s see others from then till now!

Well, I have had all the above mods on mine, 95mm pulley, cams, etc., and it’s about the perfect setup imo. The only issues I ever had it busting rear tire loose in lower gears when I didn’t want to....
now that I am running the 4 wheel setup, I can say for sure, the engine will now put you back in your seat in low gears! I can really appreciate the power my SS makes now, I now can use the power down low instead of just the last two gears!!!

So how well in the rain as far as traction would that be?

I just change my air from summer to winter...seems to work good!

I tried to swipe my card on my TV but it was declined......😂

Glad I have a couple full face respirators and a bunch of P100 canister filters....
Might look cool driving the SS around wearing them!👍🤠

When your going on 400 mile trip, so much easier packing everything in truck, and weather is of no concern. I have cruised over 1000 miles to pikes peak, down through New Mexico....had some bad weather but made it. Trailer would have been nice back then!
Wife and I love the trailer, should have got one sooner!
