I am looking for a good weather proof cover to use when I have to leave the SS outdoors. Summers here and in the mountains have pop up storms all the time in the late day.

I was looking at the Polaris Trailer cover but I have a rear wing. Has anyone successfully used one of these on an SS with a rear wing?
Hate to spend that much $$$$$ to find it won't fit

    Thanks

@rabtech sounds like you have Planters Fascitis in you foot. Have a very similar pain for the last 2years. The morning pain can be really bad. Been using inserts to help with the arch and hope to repair the tendons.

Look it up there are things you can do to help with the pain.

All kidding aside - I have the same issue wit my feet - Walmart DR Shols inserts - the machine tell you the recommended #
took about a month and all my pain is gone - If I don't use them I suffer

Here are the details on this plug. Seems like a hot plug to me when pushing over 250hp. I would also think the gap is pretty large...

I would have to go back and check the recommended gap but it is not that big for sure

I have a quick fix for you. Sit in the passengers seat of the rabtech machine after he finishes this engine swap. Let him take you for a ride. That should scare the crap out of you and 6 months will go by quickly. Just kidding he is a hell of a driver but only knows how to use the go fast pedal.

He didn't blow it up he just went with a stronger motor to run higher boost.
His motor was pretty damn good just the way it was - not many of us could keep up with him. His only problem was like all of us he wanted more. Now he has it

I spoke with Dave at DDM today and ordered my engine and some other goodies, since it will be ready when I have to travel I am going to have them do the swap for me. I think Dave is planning on doing some step by step pictures of their process, and I hope he will be posting them here. I have to tell you rabtech hit on a winner with DDM = professionals and a pleasure to work with.
The hard part is the 3 week wait. But I will have to live thru rabtech's posts and try to keep up with him in Georgia next week.

Now I have to go back out to the shop and finish cleaning her up for a show this weekend. Big annual festival in our town called Lakefest any one in southern Virginia or northern North Carolina will know of it. If you are free on Saturday come on out to the lake for the big day lots going on all day and into the evening ending with a big fireworks show
If you come out look for me at the Brewer Cycle booth in front of United Country Realty

If Not Have a Great Weekend

Ok Mr. Rabtech I am officially 3 weeks out from where you are on this swap right now. I sure hope the core you dropped off was a good one cuz that is what DDM is using for my build.

Thanks for letting me hang on your shirt tails. You area good friend and a great teacher..But one of these days I am going to pass you on the highway. Most likely when you stop to use a restroom but it will still count in my book as long as you are in my mirror...

Hello everyone, as some of you may know my baby sister runs a Pro-Mod Dragster and was the IHRA Champion last year. I don't get to talk with her as much as I like but we had a nice long conversation today to catch up a bit. She sent me a link to this video that she was working on that shows just what is involved in driving her type of race car. Being a very proud older brother I thought I would share it with my other family here on slingshotinfo.com. The video is a little long and she is a bit of a wise ass but I hope you all enjoy it. Thank you all for letting me show her off. Enjoy
