I turned 18 in Dec of 72. Lottery number was 1. They already had there numbers for 72 though. In 73 there was no more draft, my number was 250, and I joined the Air Force. Spent a year in tech school in Denver then they sent me to Blytheville, AR. One of the worst places you could go to in 74!

I use Pirelli P1s. Love them.

On our way down for shot number two. Glad to get this done. I hate needles. Have to give myself two insulin shots a day and I don’t like the short needles either.

100 mph. I haven't driven that fast since I was 16. Iowa had 75 and 80 roads back then and when I moved to Maryland and 55 was the max I thought I was crawling along. Now I think it is fast enough.
I didn’t know it was possible to drive that slow. One of our main roads through town has a 50 mph limit. The interstate is 75 and the turnpike over the border in Ok is 80. Normally I only drive 5-10 over.

SoCal Well I would buy the mods but don't have the talent to install them and would guess you just don't take your Sling to the local shop to get them done.
changing the clutch is fairly time consuming since you have to pull the engine. If you can’t get help from friends with the tools then I would talk to some mechanics you can trust and see what they would charge. It’s not that difficult you just don’t want them looking in the computer and charging r&r engine rates piled on top of clutch labor. It only takes about three hours if you don’t have a turbo. With a supercharger it’s no problem.

Great filter. Where did you get the knife holder. I have plans for a wooden one but have too many projects lined up in front of it.

Buy a used one with an aftermarket radio in and working then switch your good parts over and sell the old one. Sorry Bro. Couldn’t resist.

There are lots of Teslas around here and the closest service is in Tulsa, OK, 120 miles away. People are willing to travel considerable distances for service to get the vehicle they want. I do most of my own work on our Slings (and others too) partially so I don’t have to pay dealer rates. Of course I also do the work (except for warranty or recalls) on my other vehicles so I don’t get gouged by dealers.

I always tell the new guys --- if you teach your wife to drive the Slingshot you WILL be riding 'bitch' forever.
Or she ends up getting her own!!!

Patti was just sent a request for an HR person in Honolulu. She’s thinking she may have to come back from retirement.
