I bought the velocity sport and love them. I am going to ask the local upholstery shop if they can install heat into them. I think it can be done fairly easy by looking at them. Just need the correct stapler to reassemble them. I find them a lot more comfortable and cooler than the stock 2016.5 seats. I bought mine when Polaris offered the 25% off coupon.

@DKF Texas your taillights really sets your Sling apart from others, they are mesmerizing. You should share a video of them.
Yes please share. I checked out your ride in Maggie but didn't see the taillights. So as they say pictures or it didn't happen or in this case video please

Did you just assume my nationality??? :O
Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app
not sure of your nationality but you say your from San Jose California so I would half hazardly guess you own a California emissions compliant slingshot so that is not a Canadian model. But I guess you could be a Canuck living in California.

I think its fugly. Must have been sold on the Canuck Slingshots.
Not on the Canuck slings. Usually you Americans want to buy things that our slings come with like the dual outside lights

I would bet the battery

The spider just needs skis and a track ohhhh wait they make that already it's called a ski-doo. Just don't like the looks of the spider, get rid of it and buy her a slingshot

I work next to Imperial oil (Esso) oil refinery and I know for a fact that they package oil in many different company labeled bottles. They might have certain recipes for some companies but they all must meet a certain specification or they can't label it and sell it as such.
-
I believe every filter they used was a fleetguard brand. They bought the oil in the totes and pumped it into smaller containers for use. We had at least 50 pickups, scrapers, panel vans, Mobil cranes, backhoes, front end loaders etc etc and they all got the same oil as the guys swore that rotella T was the best for any engine

I use to work at a coal fired power plant that had a crew of equipment mechanics that took care of everything from D-11 caterpillar dozers to lawnmowers and everything in between. They used rotella T 15w-40 oil in everything. So using the T6 synthetic would probably be one of the best choices I have seen yet

But wait... There's more!
If you act now we will throw in an extra sling dry for just $20 more. That's 2 sling drys for the price of 2.
I got one down in Maggie and I haven't had a chance to try it out. Hopefully this weekend won't be so busy and I can give the sling a good cleaning

How do you so quickly find videos to suit any thread???
He doesn't have anything better to do, he works at a nuclear power plant. Haven't you watched what Homer Simpson does at work Sorry tripod I just couldn't resist

Mniron, that is one sweet ride, I was amazed at the details you put into it. When I seen it at Maggie it looked amazing.

Shatneyman, as we discussed in Maggie "YOU CAN DO IT" if you can hack up you hood and make it a masterpiece then a simple air ride install will be easy for you. Come on if you have any problems just call Aunt Jemima to help..........sorry couldn't resist! Seriously though there are a ton of people here that will answer any questions that arise.
