I was able to remove my hood by myself. I popped the hood, but left it down. I was then able to remove the 4 bolts attaching it to the front hinge assembly. I placed a few thick towels on the floor in front of it and then just lifted the rear of it and slid it gently to the ground so it was standing on its nose. I was then able to move it to a corner of the garage and placed it on more towels. I was able to install it myself as well reversing the procedure.

I'd like to up my Hahn a bit, but it only had the springs for the 6-7 psi. The other Springs were not there. Called Precision and they stated they include all the springs with their BOVs. Emailed Hahn, but no answer for more than 2 weeks. Were your springs included, if not, where did you get them?

Will you take a stage 2 turbo kit with 400 miles on it in trade

No head stud or connecting rod upgrade?
-
Wow! I should have waited another month to boost mine.
-
Well that takes care of that. I don't plan on owning anything with a chain as the final drive again.
-
Has anyone changed the gearing after boosting? Seems like I'm shifting every few seconds and that it could handle a bit taller gearing without sacrificing acceleration too much. Maybe a 1 or 2 tooth smaller rear sprocket?

So no need to worry about oil coking? I use Mobil1, but still wondered if the oil sitting in a hot turbo would cause it to coke.

I don't live there, but come twice a year or so to visit the in-laws that live in Greenville.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking the 6 was stock heat range, not the 5.

So maybe a LTR7IX-11 going one step cooler?
-
I was wondering if anyone is using different spark plugs with their turbo. Maybe a cooler one?

Thanks

I'm looking to pick up the AEM AFR. Anyone know of a good site?

I just finished my install yesterday, drove 30 easy miles, and then opened it up. The road was flat and the torque steer was fairly noticeable. I didn't notice it before the turbo.
