Cool for $300 I think they worth the gamble with free shipping. Do I need to order any of the extras when I buy them

I believe they have a single wire harness so you only need to run one power wire. Give them a call and see if it will work for your application and they can build you a kit around this harness. The power and ground wire will not reach back to the battery so you need to extend this wires.

Morimoto in my opinion has the best HiD kits on the market. I've been using them in 5 different vehicles for years and I've never had a problem. I was told by them that the 55w is not worth the heat risk and I could be wrong but I think I remember reading somewhere that most OEM HID applications are 35w equivalent.

I put 35w HID morimoto kit in the slingshot but I also put in a set of FX-R projectors that use D2S bulbs. I also had them etch the SS logo in the lens. The light output is amazing, it's not just about what style bulbs you use but the projectors play a big part in light output. Projectors that are design for halogen bulb don't always perform well with HId bulbs and vice versa. The important thing is having a good quality wire harness to pull power directly from the battery and not through the factory wire harness. I've never seen a better quality wire harness than the ones provided buy morimoto. They offer a harness that is capable of running 4 HID bulbs.

    Here's are some pics

Whew!! @Ice9812...for a minute there I thought you were going to do away with your demon eyes!! You're the original creator of Demon Eyes!!! :00000019:

Lol...no I just have an updated style of the led strips, a little bigger and brighter. I want to do something a little different with them.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone I appreciate it

What year Sling?.i will have a set from a 2017 SLR, but they will not work if you have the Canadian light kit.

    @av8ingtom Mines a 2015 so I think they're different right?

What are you up to @Ice9812? Didn't you put the retrofit projectors?

@MiM I'm looking to cut the front edge and mount the led strips from the back so they shine through instead of being stuck on the front. I want to try and find a set of light pods so if it doesn't work out I can still use the ones I have. im sure it will be a hard part to find used I've been checking eBay for the last 6 months. I'll probably end up buying a new set but I'm trying not to.

The best time to adjust your front latches is just before you install the hood. Just rotate the hinge back and align the latches. Then put on the hood.

I tried that first but for some reason it didn't line up when I put the hood on the hinges. I had to keep them loose and close the hood and then tighten them back up.

@Ice9812 now what type of adjustments you talking about not any thing to time consuming i hope

Not at all. The front latches on the frame needed to be moved. They have 2 bolts a piece, after speaking with cycle springs I loosened the 2 bolts on each side so the latches can slide. I left the socket on the one bolt and closed the hood so I could reach under and tighten the bolt and then opened the hood to tighten the other bolt. Then I did the same thing on the other side. There might be an easier/different way but it worked. They only other thing I would mention is when closing the hood you have to now push the hood down. There also a chance you won't have to adjust your latches maybe they will be lined right up.

I just spoke to SlingShotJimmy and he told me that they are producing a kit so that the owners of 2017 Slingshots can install the Canadian Light kit. The kit will come complete with the brackets and everything you need to do the install.

    :SLRSS:

I spoke with him once about it a couple months ago and he said they were working on it. Any word on when it will be out?

At the time I just needed the metal bracket because I cut mine up but I ended up getting one from a forum member

The 2015-2016 bezels will not fit. I have tried that. Polaris decided to make the 2017 bezel a different shape. Just enough to make it not work.

Wow that sucks. I guess that doesn't surprise me. Thanks for the info

You have to search on the 2015 or 2016 model, maybe find someone in your area with a 2015 or 16 and take theirs off to see if it's mounted the same way. If I remember correctly you just need to take the corner marker light off and the the plastic bezel is held on with 2 allen head screws

@av8ingtom give Noel a call at cyclesprings, he said he was working on making his own bracket to be able to do the conversion. I'm not sure if it's complete yet but he will definitely be able to help
