Oh man @MiM the only thing that makes that worse..... your trip to get the paint job & it happened on the way back. I mean the universe could have at least let you show it off to your wife & kids before being so cruel.

So after reading the warning stories about hydroplaning incidents and the perchance of losing it fairly easy....maybe the best rain suit is none at all and then you won't be tempted to ride yourself into danger...

Thanks for the warning stories.... thought provoking info...

I have no rain suit and have been caught in the rain twice, with no bridge in sight. I pull over and just get soaked & the last time wished I at least had an umbrella lol.

Actually the Fed classified it as a motorcycle as it's the only place it fits. So until something changes with the Fed makes a new class, it's a motorcycle. I am required to have a MC endorsement and wear a helmet, that would not be the case unless it's a motorcycle. So your asking why someone would want to take a motorcycle to a motorcycle ride is illogical. :)

Okay apparently it means a lot to you to win the argument, but come on now.....it is a looooooongggggggg stretch to call it that.... a cock pit & a steering wheel, hell 4 wheel conversions..... I mean come on now lets be honest.
I can get a Mazda Miata converted to 3 wheels can I then reclassify it as a motorcycle.
Because some rich corporation payed off the people in charge so they can circumvent the airbag and safety rules.
For the record in Texas it is an "autocycle" under the MC class - so those rules above can be circumvented, but Texas was smart enough to look at it and see its no motorcycle so lets give it its own class.
(no MC endorsement or helmet required)

It's pretty logical to think it's a motorcycle when the VIN plate has motorcycle on it. I get it, it's not a bike but nothing with three wheels is.
The funny part is that lots of charity rides here allow rat rods, jeeps, classics and others. It's about raising money for charity.

"Yes the states are classifying it under the MC statute so we are allowed to buy them and Polaris doesn't have to make them safe"

I just don't get why slingshot drivers care to be in the motorcycle events. Yes the states are classifying it under the MC statute so we are allowed to buy them and Polaris doesn't have to make them safe, but to call this thing a motorcycle is illogical.
Other than the charity aspect it makes no sense to care 1 way or the other if my SS is allowed.

I'm running a stock SL and I'm not swapping out any stock parts until they wear out or break. I'm getting plenty of fun and performance just the way it is.

We have a country road here that is 30 miles long, twisty, hilly, sometimes bumpy, and usually quite vacant. I can't even begin to express how much fun I've had going back and forth on that road without any mods at all.

You don't need to mod this thing to have a blast!

I partially agree with you. I am running stock shocks as well, but I am sure aftermarket shocks will make the ride much more enjoyable. However if what I have isn't broke why fix it? lol
I do want better shocks I just can't put out the cash to get them until my stock pogo sticks take a dump on me, so I get what your saying. I do not want to take a ride in someones SS that has aftermarket shocks because I am 100% sure it'll have me changing my stocks before they take that dump.

I didn't/haven't payed attention to the protest, but from reading the few comments here. Are you surprised? I mean I've read a story of a 4 year old boy shot from road rage.... FUCKING ROAD RAGE..... your in such a hurry you'll kill someone for getting cut off?????? WTF...........
I guess what I am saying is if people can't control them self from a simple driving infraction, what makes you think they can control them self when something they may or may not take personal like a protest.
While I agree you should be able to protest for what ever you want. You should be able to be " Black Lives Matter, the KKK, White, Black, Hispanic, Oriental or anything else"........ but those days for doing it with out having to worry about something bad will happen are pretty much long gone.
Prison is 3 meals & a bed....hell it's my retirement plan. Make it horrible like it used to be and a lot of this will calm down. Take away all rights of a prison convicted person & live stream the horribleness and maybe that will keep sane people from being so stupid. As long as its not that bad it'll only get worse.

One last thing. I am not talking about the over priced useless e-cigs on your local gas stations counter top. I am talking go to an e-cig store and get some thing good and have them recommend what may help you.

You can still get nicotine which is your biggest craving, it also gives you the smoking effect since in essence you are smoking however your smoking food grade liquids not tobacco.
It takes a little bit to get used to them, but once you do you'll not want a cigarette again as they'll taste horrible.

I wonder if the large stealth sun visor would still work with this. (Unless the small 1 provided is removable i don't think it will). For the price of this if the stealth works i'd Velcro some plastic sheathing inside the stealth that I can attach when rain or washing.

Your question had me curious so I did a google search and nothing came up new that hasn't been seen, your best bet is to look for an inflated chair/lounger. They have those quick inflate ones these days maybe they make a chair also? (see video if you haven't seen quick inflate lounger)
