I was out for a ride tonight and wondered if anyone has attempted to install small electric fans under the dash or foot well?

I was thinking of the square fans (about 4" x" ) that used to be in the old PC towers or something along those lines.

Not sure what the power requirements would be or were to connect / tap into power.

Possible? Not sure how effective if would be either or if worth the effort.

I also notice the amount of warm air coming from between the console molding by the stereo and the transmission tunnel wall. My first thought was to take the trim off and add some foam weather strip to seal up the gaps.

Find yourself a couple of small travel bags made for motorcycles. There's several that will work. we took our first overnight road trip this last weekend and found ourselves needing a little more space. These worked perfect for additional space for cold gear and heavy jackets. Velcro straps allowed me to attach them easily to the roll hoops.

Are the bags simply strapped to the roll hoops? Are they suspended off the back cover or are the sitting on some type of support bracket attached to the roll hoops?

Do you recall where you purchased the bags?

    Thanks

Ummm...Houston, we could have a problem???? I have the first 6 raffle tickets that were available to win the turbo kit and body make-over. (#0001 thru #0006). Is there some kind of error @ivor??@Nemesis1701, I sure hope there hasn't been some kind of mix-up!!!!! I've got my tickets sitting here on my desk as we speak..........

I initially had the same question.

When I looked at my raffle tix on my phone, the image showed tickets 1 - 6 as well and I reached out to him.

However, when I opened the word doc attached to the email Ivor sent from my laptop, the tickets showed the correct numbers - which he confirmed in email. He indicated he has everything tracked on a spreadsheet as well.

Just my experience - not sure why my phone is displaying that way or if others have the same experience

    Clarification:
On Slingshotroadsters.com, they have a raffle listed with the drawing date of Sept. 4th.

Is there a similar raffle being run / drawn at Slingshot in the Smokies? If so, I need to enter the Smokies raffle.

Jorge - makes sense and you described the sensation fairly well - squirrely at higher speeds with the smallest of corrections affecting the steering.

(I would read how some owners would get their rides up to 80 mph or more and couldn't image doing that for fear getting out of control and the rear whiplashing)

No custom ECU mods yet - will ask that the dealer do the update at the 500 mile service.

I've read about the rev hang issue but never experienced it with my SS yet. What I have going on is that sometimes when I come to a stop and push the clutch in, the motor drops below 500 rpms and it feels like the engine is going to stall. Does not happen everytime but I just wonder once it starts to get some age on it if it is going to stall out on me? Is this something that can be corrected with a reflash?

I have the 2016.5 model - three weeks old - and I experience the same rev drop at times - typically when I am decelerating and shifting down.

I have not experienced the other issues discussed in this thread - either rev hang or the steering issue described.

The steering related item I notice (and this could be me needing to adjust to steering sensitivity) but at highway speeds, any slight (I mean very light, 1/4" changes in steering) movement of the wheel and the steering responds.

I find myself correcting what seems like over steer and end up waggling the back end. It is unsettling on the highway and I can't get comfortable at higher speeds.

I posted about not getting the red because the color wore off and left you with bare alum which was real noticeable.

Ugh, I just installed the red pedals on Saturday.
I am a big guy with long arms and big hands. I had a heck of a time getting in the right position to attach the nylon nuts. Was a very physically demanding install...not looking forward to taking them out.
