    Notice to employer:
Though the recent conversations/posts appear reasonable and logical, they have no bearing on my absence.

I maintain and reassert my claim: The reason I cannot work over the next several days is due to acquiring pneumonia from a very nice lady who told me to vote for her in an upcoming election. If you believe her assertions, no doubt you will believe mine...

On a similar note...I haven't been able to get used to the intercom system I bought...I'll be bringing two SPH10's. Used once, still on original charge...

I recently posted a variant of this question on the end of an old discussion. I haven't gotten any feed back, so thought I'd repost as a new thread...

I got the 1320 header/exhaust combo the other day, installed at a gold dealership

He didn't put any baffle in initially, because from the curb it sounds fine...it the cab...well...I might need dentures
So I put the smallest baffle in and am pretty happy with the cabin sound

My issue is with muffler mounting...
    Anybody having problems?
I've seen on the forum 'which shall not be named' that people are doing
all sorts of weird stuff to make this exhaust work...like adding
    springs, etc...?
I find that it's too low...the exhaust hangs a couple of inches lower than stock, which for my 4.5 in ride height scrapes...a lot...

I had considered just removing the muffler tip, but wanted to see what other folks were doing first?

In an update to my original post, I'm noticing a crack in the acrylic at a stress point...I think this may be what @FunCycle my have described in another thread...anybody else having this problem?

Rather than start a new thread, I just thought I'd post my question here...

    Anybody having problems?
I've seen on the forum 'which shall no be named' that people are doing all sorts of weird stuff to make this exhaust work...like adding springs, etc...?
I have a couple of issues
    1) Too low...the exhaust hangs a couple of inches lower than stock, which for my 4.5 in ride height scrapes...a lot...
    2) It looks like there's a wire welded to the exhaust to catch the frame to keep it from bouncing lower...?
But most of the time mine misses the frame entirely...and the other times it *clangs* on it, which isn't much better

Anybody having these issues, or found a good solution?

I, too, can't wait to meet other SS folks!
When we meet, feel free to call me 'book'...more people call me that than my actual name anyway :)

...and it's possible my work thinks I have dysentery, or a death in the family...so please don't post any pics of my gallivanting! lol :)

    Several things:
Rab...you gotta come! Lemme know if there's anything I can do to make it happen!
Can't drive up until Fri :( ...I get off work at 0800 and will be driving straight through...hope I won't miss out on too much...
Placed some orders for install prior to visit...getting new Pilot Super Sport tires all around, CAI, headers, exhaust, heat shield...I'm so stoked! (PS...Jason at Gregory Polaris in Jacksonville, AR is helping with all this and is da bomb...highly recommend!)
Drew, long time no talk, buddy...can't wait to see you and the wifey again!

Sounds cool, thanks DD...I just mentioned Bill because he said earlier that he was helping put it together...
btw...hotel still had a couple of spots for anyone who hasn't reserved yet!
Also...I'll be driving from south AR on Friday morning (it was as much work off as they'd let me have)...if anyone wants to caravan along that route, hit me up!!

Hey Bill, just got work off approved last night...and I see deadline for shirt was yesterday :(
Any wiggle room in that or am I screwed?
    Calling hotel now...

SPH10 if you're not wearing a helmet is a good way to go.
However, I must say...now that I have both the SPH10 and the originally reviewed RHA MA750...the RHA does better with music. 90% of the time I'll be riding alone, in the middle of nowhere (no cell coverage) and so I'll stick with the RHA on those days. But when I take a friend on a trip, the SPH10 music share and intercom is the perfect tool...
    Hope that helps!
