Probably put 800+ miles on the rental. If I did it in the Sling I'd be, what do you call it? Oh yeah, single.
Well, there's a solution to that, ya know.... Bring the right gear!!

Ross received an unexpected calendar from you a few days ago in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea!! Thank you so much! I have to find a place in the shop to hang it up and I will post a pic or two! I am grateful for you thinking of me!!
Ross - that's a pro move. Mail at sea is precious. Well done.
But now having PRP clothe seats comfortable/nice to the eye but now have to carry bags to cover them
even with hint of rain.
Could not even think of them soaked a few times and mold and mildew growing inside them.
That was a concern when we started looking at aftermarket seats, and one of the three primary reasons we ended up going with the Polaris Velocity Sport seats.
Display MoreIowa? That sounds a kinda corny!
Sorry, that was uncalled for.
Truly, when it comes to uncalled-for commentary, you are in a field of your own.
Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.
It looks to be 1 1/2 inch below the bottom of the battery, Whatever the thickness of the frame tube is. If used I would advise installing a heat shield under the battery tray. Better safe than sorry.
I knew you'd say that!
Back to the original topic.... has anyone heard anything more about this exhaust? I wish there was a video posted.... I've already asked Slingmods about it.
Also, does it seem to anyone else that the run of piping on the driver side might be a little close to the battery compartment? I have also asked how much heat there is on that, it looks like an unshielded pipe.
Welcome! You have come to the right place! Recommend starting a thread in the regional section, and looking through to see who else may already have posted from your general area. There is also a user map, which is not compulsory to participate on, but it may have some folks already listed in your area. Happy riding!
I am always humbled by this forum’s kindness. Thank you Bu11sh1t and your lovely wife Diane’s kindness. You guys are top shelf in our book. THANK YOU
Damn, even your leather products get a nice flame wrap job!
That *is* a wrap, right?
Celebrating Florida way
You are not going to make any friends if you keep that up....
Display MoreYes Edward Neal I remember Twist bought the rights to the Stinger top from Madstad ,
But remember in any sales transaction, whether or not a transaction takes place is ultimately the decision of the seller . A purchaser never gets to dictate when or at what price, a seller sells a privately owned corporation., only the seller decides that.
Consequently the more accurate way of describing these events is;
,- Noel Hughes decided to sell Slingshot Only and Scott Macindoe bought it
-The original Twist Dynamic s proprietor decided to sell Twist and Scott Macindoe bought it.
-It was Madstad who decided to sell the rights to the Stinger and Scott bought them.
-And the WELTERS have chosen to deal with Scott Macindoe of their own free will.
Any one of these parties, as they were in control of their companies at the time ,could have or for all we know, may have , offered to sell to Slingmods but ultimately it was Scott Macindoe who made the investment in these products, further investing in the Slingshot industry . I for one have a hard time resenting Scott for that, Instead I admire the investment he is making in our industry and look forward to seeing what they can do together with the entire Welter organization on board.
Please Edward Neal I apologize if it looks like I'm posting these thoughts to you directly , I am not, I am only trying to level a playing field in a forum where we are all supposed to be able to speak our minds freely.
You *are* persistent, I'll give you that.
Does Scott own both Twist and SSOnly?
Yes, as well as Madstad, and SlingShotRoadsters, the company that puts on the rally at Maggie Valley and several more across the country.
Has anyone tried ...under side of hump?
Isn't that what the young lady in the article above did?
Did you happen to buy from Slingmods, or do they sell these same kits? Sometimes they have instructions on their website for the companies they vend for.
I just wish your rear wind screen would fit a slingshot with the Slingshade. I would purchase it in a heartbeat.
Hey, if you're interested, I just saw the other day how a guy with the Slingshade mounted his windscreen.
...

...
...
...ditch the Slingshade!
Shhhhh..... Let's see how many people notice this....
Happy early 2019!
DUDE. Slick.
Hope it drives some sales, brother.
I put D-mod into the search and am not coming up with anything, can you give a more specific link?
Thanks,
Bill
I searched D-mod also. Nothing.
Gents, not sure why it didn't work for ya. Popped right up for me. I did it without the quotation marks. Anyway...
And it was roadog1aj who did it. Just one idea, but maybe seeing this will lead you down another road that works better for you.
