    There have been a few "ram air" applications that have shown up recently. I'm surprised nobody has funneled air to a box or enclosure on their cold air filter from the Canadian headlight location. It looks like a direct run back to the area behind the center headlights. This wouldn't work for those with the headlights, but for those that don't have the lights, a couple 2" tubes and some ingenuity could bring in cool air from the outside. Any thoughts or opinions?

    More air comes in around the headlights through the funnel shaped bodywork than the engine can use, combine that with the completely open engine bay and that "ram air" only works at speeds few slingshots will ever see (and those are forced induction) even if it had a sealed, specifically designed air-box that it would be strictly an exercise in fashion, rather than function (as seen above)

    So .. this probably won't go over well but here it goes ....


    I keep hearing certain lawmakers stating the US/President Trump needs to "punish" Saudi Arabia if it is found they in fact killed the "US resident working for a US news agency" Jamal Khashoggi.


    When you break it down to its base facts I see a problem with this .....


    Khashoggi was not a US citizen, he was a Saudi working in the US allegedly killed on Saudi sovereign soil (their consulate in Turkey). He was not a refuge, been granted asylum, or any type of special status. He fell under their laws and retribution. No matter how "we" may feel about the Saudi's actions this is their deal, not new, and should be taken up in the UN if true and "we" have a problem with their actions, not used as an internal political hot potato.

    Senators needing to hide away in hotels with private security before the vote rather than their homes is ludicrous ....
    The number of serious threats flying around needs to be made public ....


    It's not over 'till its over but the VP is on the hill and Rep. Gianforte's jet is on stand by with a flight plan filed if the vote needs to be held over and Senator Daines is needed tonight.

    Firstly you are confusing the timeline .. the party referenced in his calendar was when he was in High School, not College ... his Junior year of High School (1982) to be specific ...


    You have done this several times but I can understand it because a couple news sources and the ladies on the View are doing the same, purposefully I am sure ....


    Secondly you do not "know" anything you claim, you have no first hand knowledge and no one has come forward to dispute his testimony or calendar entries so are only assuming he "lied" based on repeated flawed information used to form your own opinion .. exactly the type of thing you point out as disingenuous when other do the same....

    McConnell has known about this for a while, its even been mentioned by others a few days ago .... he is a master of procedure so I am sure he has a plan ......


    Daines will be voting Friday morning to end cloture .... was wondering why McConnell stated the vote will be early in the day and not at 1:10am (the earliest they can) .... maybe he is moving the vote to Sunday so no rush .... would also have the side effect of holding Dem Senators over for the weekend so they can't go home and stump .....


    Either way I highly doubt he will risk a vote if he doesn't have his butt covered... happened once and he doesn't seem the type to let it happen again .....

    EDIT: Procedure dictates they can vote any time after ending cloture, I don't see it happening but if the dems don't want to run out their 30 hours they could vote immediately after the cloture vote or any time after .... I'm not going to hold my breath on that though ....
