lol, I almost chose that pic, lol

To all of you with the Bullet Speed top.

Quick question. I am looking to buy the hardware for the baker wings as I bought the Bullet Speed top and am needing to know the bar thickness so I can order the right hardware.

    Anyone have any knowledge here?

    Thanks in advance :)

I bought the one from Slingmods. Works just fine.

I did however get rid of the 4-pin pigtail and went with a solid flush mount system like this....

I don't have a picture, but it is mounted where the arrow is in this pic...

Best thing I did. this way there is no dangling wiring in the way and forced me to rewire my trailer because it had been patched a couple times and wasn't "looking" so pretty

So @Drew71646 kinda a Caddy ride on the freeway but control in the corners?

While I haven't done any extensive Track running, I noticed a significant difference in the handling in the corners when doing the hill climb at SSITR last year. I can honestly say I felt way more confident in the handling than I did the year previous with the Stock shocks. (Not on a hill climb, but just handling in general)

And yeah, the comfort on the highways is what you notice the most.

    So.... Who's going?

My route for this trip is looking pretty good. Slight detour at the onset as I am hoping my new top will come in about the same time I am looking to pull outta here. So the plan is to swing by, install it and carry on to Vegas.

    Current route plans are YHmew53G1i32

Looking at roughly 4300 miles :) Can't think of a better way to jump into Spring!

    So who's coming?

well I.m dug out already here in Manitoba. The melting snow and slushy ice ruts are causing an issue in the lane. Took me 20 min to get out of the driveway yesterday. (Really gotta get that bald tire off the rear, lol)

As for events, I am attending Vegas next month for sure. Mother Nature just has to agree with me. But i am off as of the 5th, and can get away any time between the 5th and 8th, so should be able to work around weather.

As for Sundre, I remain uncertain about time off and won't know until the date gets closer. May meet up with a group who is passing by on their way there and ride with them for a bit. I put out the offer for a tent spot and a steak to @KayTwo following Sundre, will know more following his route finalization.

Aside from that, likely Deadwood once or twice this summer.

    There's my year

Forget about Cain? Tell Able a rock won't kill..... ;(

Oh Jeez, don't get me started on Cain & Able....

Adam & Eve have 3 son's, Cain Able, and the other guy. (He never really makes his mark)
    Cain Kills Able
God marks Cain and sends him out into the world so that "Others" may know his sins.....

Who the Hell are the "Others"??? ?(?(

Day 1: Sundre to Cohasset MN (family), 1122 mi, ~18 hrs

A very Ambitious day if you plan to route through Canada.

Top speed for the Trans Canada Hwy is 110 kph, so just under 70 mph. Your ride would take you through Regina, SK. (RCMP Training for Canada) Speed trap central for about 2 hours radius.

Basically you have a hard time "making time".

Now.... that being said, and depending on your route......

Treherne, MB is around the 12 Hour mark and depending on the day, (work EMS remember), a Steak BBQ could be arranged. And lots of room for a tent to sprout up.

As another person that went from a Bike to a Slingshot, it can not be stated enough that the difference in personal safety is worth the switch alone.

I've gone from being completely ignored on the road as a Bike, (and all the hazards that go with it), to watching people get into accidents in their cars because the Slingshot has them so distracted.

If you've rode for years, you understand, and you have a lot of Karma coming your way. Get in and enjoy the entertainment.

Tripod only goes to union brothels so the $100 gets him the one with the most seniority. Something about a toothless, 80 year old union hooker named Ethel that only charges $100 doesn't interest me. That's no longer a Cougar - more like a PANDA

    Registration completed today!

    We are going :)

YAY.... all excited now. Basically just get the Sling out of the garage for the season and gone to Vegas. (Come on Mother Nature, play nice)
