Nevermind, I took a leap of faith and bought the NRG/Status Racing unit from Slingmods. They've always taken good care of us.

I've tried him a couple of times over a year and a half. The couple of times I could reach him he's been busy with what I would say are more important things (his health) which I didn't mind in the least, or I never get a response. Just the way things work for me sometimes...
Anyone have any input on the Status Racing ebrake handle???

Bought an OKLOCK A6 from Amazon and it looks like a no-go for Slings. The part that is supposed to slip over the brake handle is too small to work with the stock handle and the lock portion is too thick to work with an aftermarket short shifter and knob.
Be aware BEFORE you purchase, your mods may mean that the lock that works for others may not for you!

@airoutlaw, thanks for the word of warning. Career firefighter, so I know the risk but it enables me to have a smaller package to put with my med bag. Wish they made a dry chemical in that size that was worth spit but with powder it's all about volume.

Come to Maggie Valley and listen to each offering, you'll find one you'll like.

We shall all wear our badges with pride and have a great time... and set a good example. Haha.
But, let's keep those streamers reasonable...
On September 14, 1927, dancer Isadora Duncan is strangled in Nice, France, when the enormous silk scarf she is wearing gets tangled in the rear hubcaps of her open car.
No capes!!!

Any vehicle can catch fire. There is a recall on the fuel line but I haven't heard of any just bursting into flames unlike the CanAm Spyders a few years back.
A small halon unit is in my cubby but it's just part of my jump kit.

Got mine. Thanks @mytoy!!!

Ohio did the same thing, waiting to see if our insurance will increase. I'm thinking once people that can't drive 4 wheels start driving 3, the perceived risk will go up along with premiums.
Good to know I don't have to wear a helmet when I go back though.

The Dragon is overrated. Take a trip to West Virginia and you'll have more safe fun! I saw A LOT of people riding at speeds WAY over their skill level and drifting into the oncoming lane on corners. It may have been great once upon a time but now is crowded with idiots. My opinion.

Welcome @thunderspeed. I don't know about Clinton County but we had a not so great experience with Iron Pony Motorsports. They carry 14 brands and so they concentrate on volume NOT individual customers. That means they are in no hurry to help and certainly don't care if you are happy or not.

Done. @Guardian_Angel the toughest part was holding onto the tiny little nuts (no @Tripod , down boy!) as with my monstrous hands I lost two of them into the skid plate. Have a variety of extension lengths, a short and deep well 13mm socket and if you have a ratcheting 15mm box end wrench for the back flange bolt you'll be happier. You cannot get a socket on it.
HTH,

LOVE IT!!! Thanks Larry, I needed that!!! @Tripod, do you mind if I use that as my LinkedIn pic occasionally?

NP, 1. You're not an old timer that would know my back story and 2. Had no way of knowing that I was doing more, so I didn't get upset when you were busting my chops. Watch out for @Tripod though, he's craaazy!

At 6'2" with bad joints, it's easier. Especially since it is header, Canadian kit, new CAI and cleaning up some earlier wiring.

Thanks guys, getting ready to get dangerous!
